## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## TikTok Shop Reviews Scraper - Ratings, Photos & Variants

Scrape every customer review from any TikTok Shop product. Paste product URLs and get star ratings, full review text, review photos, the variant each buyer purchased, review dates, verified-purchase flags and reviewer names and avatars, with the product title, shop name and overall rating on every row. No login and no TikTok account needed.

### What you get

One row per review with:

- **Review**: star rating (1-5), full review text, review date, review ID
- **Photos**: every photo the buyer attached, photo count and a "has media" flag
- **Variant**: the SKU / variant purchased (e.g. "Color: Black")
- **Trust signals**: verified purchase and incentivized review flags
- **Reviewer**: display name (as TikTok shows it, partly masked), reviewer ID, avatar and country
- **Product context**: product ID, URL, title, image, shop name and shop URL, overall star rating, total review count and units sold

Export to JSON, CSV, Excel or Google Sheets from the **Dataset** tab, or pull results through the Apify API.

### Use cases

- **Product research**: read what buyers love and hate before you source or launch a product
- **Competitor analysis**: mine competitors' negative reviews for complaints you can solve
- **Sentiment analysis and review mining**: feed thousands of reviews into your own analysis or dashboards
- **UGC and creative ideas**: collect real customer photos and the language buyers use in ad copy
- **Brand and seller monitoring**: track new reviews and rating changes on your own TikTok Shop listings

### How to use

1. Paste one or more **Product URLs** (any `tiktok.com/shop/pdp/...` link, or just the numeric product ID), one per line
2. Set **Max reviews per product** (default 100; set 0 for all reviews)
3. Leave **Add product title and shop** on to get product details on every row
4. Run the actor. Reviews appear in the **Dataset** tab as they're collected

#### Getting more reviews in a later run

Each run saves where it stopped for every product. After the run finishes, open the **Key-value store** tab → copy the `NEXT_PAGE_ID` value → paste it into **Page ID** on your next run, keeping the same product list. Each product continues from where it stopped, and products that are already finished are skipped. If `NEXT_PAGE_ID` is `null`, you've fetched everything.

```
A run summary with the number of reviews collected and the total review count for each product is saved as `OUTPUT` in the **Key-value store**.
### Pricing
Pay per result: you are charged once for each review delivered to your dataset (`review-result`). Products that don't exist or have no reviews cost nothing.
### Good to know
- Reviews come in TikTok Shop's own order (most relevant first), not strictly newest first. Sort or filter by `rating` or `reviewedAt` in the dataset or your spreadsheet.
- TikTok Shop masks reviewer names (e.g. `J**e`) and doesn't show helpful-vote counts or review videos, so those aren't included.
- **Variant** is empty for products that have only one version.
- United States products are the most complete. Other regions may return fewer reviews.
- Up to 10,000 reviews per product per run; use **Page ID** to keep going beyond that.
- Free plan users get up to 50 reviews per run and 3 runs per day. Upgrade to a paid Apify plan to remove these limits.
### FAQ
**Which URLs work?** Any TikTok Shop product page link (`tiktok.com/shop/pdp/<name>/<id>`, `shop.tiktok.com/.../pdp/<id>` or `tiktok.com/view/product/<id>`) or a bare product ID. Shop and profile URLs are skipped.
**Can I scrape several products at once?** Yes, add up to 500 product URLs per run.
**Is this legal?** The actor only collects publicly visible review data. Make sure your use complies with applicable laws and TikTok's terms, especially around personal data.
