## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Spain Public Tenders (PLACSP) – Licitaciones Públicas API

Get **Spanish public tenders (licitaciones públicas)** from the **Plataforma de Contratación del Sector Público (PLACSP / Contratación del Estado)** as clean JSON: title, contracting authority, **budget (presupuesto base)**, **deadline (fin de plazo)**, CPV, region, procedure, status and **award winner (adjudicatario)**.

Filter by keyword, CPV prefix, region, minimum amount and status (open, awarded…). Ideal for daily **tender alerts (alertas de licitaciones)**, bid teams, consultants and sales prospecting.

### Input example

```json
{
  "keywords": [
    "software"
  ],
  "statuses": [
    "PUB"
  ],
  "daysBack": 3,
  "maxItems": 200
}
```

### Output example

```json
{"id":"2026/123","title":"Servicio de mantenimiento de software","buyer":"Ayuntamiento de Madrid","status":"PUB","statusLabel":"En plazo","contractType":"2","budgetExVatEur":120000,"cpv":["72267000"],"region":"Madrid","deadline":"2026-11-03","url":"https://contrataciondelestado.es/wps/poc?uri=deeplink:detalle_licitacion&idEvl=..."}
```

Status codes: PRE anuncio previo, PUB en plazo, EV pendiente de adjudicación, ADJ adjudicada, RES resuelta, ANUL anulada.

### Use from an AI agent (API or MCP)

Add `https://mcp.apify.com?tools=sefran1/spain-public-tenders-placsp` to Claude, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP client and the Actor becomes the tool `sefran1--spain-public-tenders-placsp`. Or call the API:

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/sefran1~spain-public-tenders-placsp/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=$APIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -d '{"keywords":["limpieza"],"regions":["Madrid"],"statuses":["PUB"],"daysBack":2}'
```

Schedule it daily in Apify (Schedules) and send new results to Google Sheets, Slack, Make, Zapier or a webhook.

### Pricing

Pay per result: **$0.003 per tender** ($3 per 1,000). No subscription. Runs that find nothing cost only the tiny start fee.

### Data source and legal note

Data: PLACSP official open-data syndication feed (sindicación ATOM, 'licitaciones perfiles contratante'), published by the Spanish Ministry of Finance as open data for reuse (Ley 37/2007). This Actor only reads official public open data through the publisher's own API or feed, at a polite rate. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the publisher. Check the original source before relying on any result.
