## Changelog

### 0.2 - 2026-09-27

- Rebuilt from current source: ships the permissive dataset schema (`fields: {"type": "object"}`) that the 0.1 build predates.
- Argument validation before any charge or upstream run: IATA codes, `YYYY-MM-DD` dates, no past dates, 330-day horizon, return after departure, 60-day grid cap, 30-night hotel cap. Errors are readable (`field: reason`).
- All dates are optional with rolling defaults relative to today, so the prefilled example (`{"origin": "JFK", "destination": "LAX"}`) never goes stale. The dates used are echoed in `args`.
- Upstream call is bounded by this run's remaining time; an unfinished upstream run is aborted and reported as `ok: false`.
- Upstream sample/demo records are dropped; when no live records remain, or the upstream finishes FAILED/TIMED-OUT with nothing, the tool returns `ok: false` with the reason instead of an empty success.
- Fares and hotels are sorted before truncating to `limit`, so the cheapest options are kept.
- Batch entries that are not objects, have no `tool`, or have non-object `args` now emit an error record each instead of being skipped silently.
- Review-ask and related-actor lines load directly from `related_actors.py` (stdlib-only), so they print on this image.

### 0.1 - 2026-06-12

Initial release.

- MCP server wrapper for `travel-fare-intel` with four tools: `search_flight_fares`, `get_route_grid`, `watch_fare`, `search_hotel_prices`.
- Three run modes: `list_tools`, `call_tool`, `batch` (max 10 calls/run).
- x402 (USDC on Base) + Skyfire agentic-payment hook advertised in the tool catalog.
- Pay-per-event: flat `mcp_tool_call` $0.005 + upstream pass-through.
- Budget guard: 5 tool-call hard cap, $0.05 min-revenue abuse guard, 600s runtime cap; tolerant-input pattern converts errors to a structured envelope and exits SUCCEEDED.
