## Pricing

from $0.04 / 1,000 comments

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## TikTok Comments Scraper

Get the comments on any TikTok video as clean JSON.
Prices start at **$0.039 per 1,000 comments** and are lower than every other working
TikTok comments Actor we tested on Apify in October 2026, on every plan.

Each comment comes with its text, post date, likes, reply count, any attached image,
whether the video's creator liked or pinned it, and the commenter's handle, name and
profile photo.

### Why use this TikTok comments scraper?

- **Paste links or IDs.** Use video links straight from the browser address bar,
  or bare video IDs.
- **No login, cookies or proxies.** Add videos and press Start.
- **Many videos at once.** Each video pages through its comments until it reaches your
  limit, with repeats removed.
- **Batch or live.** Run it in bulk from the Apify Console, or call it like an API and
  page through comments in real time.

### What data can I get from TikTok comments?

| Field | What it is |
| --- | --- |
| `text`, `language` | The comment and its language, as TikTok detected it |
| `createdAt` | When it was posted, in ISO 8601 (UTC) |
| `likes`, `replies` | Likes on the comment and how many replies it has |
| `likedByAuthor`, `pinnedByAuthor` | Whether the video's creator liked or pinned it |
| `imageUrl` | An image attached to the comment, if any |
| `author` | The commenter's handle, display name, user ID, secUid and profile photo |
| `id`, `videoId` | The comment's ID and the video it is on |
| `input` | The video link or ID as you entered it |

### Input

```json
{
  "videos": [
    "https://www.tiktok.com/@laurynchayce/video/7567121744457125150",
    "7689243203102461197"
  ],
  "maxCommentsPerVideo": 500
}
```

| Field | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| `videos` | TikTok video links or video IDs, one per line |
| `maxCommentsPerVideo` | Most comments per video, up to 10,000. Default 100 |

### Output

One dataset item per comment. The commenter's details below are placeholders:

```json
{
  "id": "7649308185207554838",
  "videoId": "7567121744457125150",
  "text": "This is how my first sourdough loaf ever came out. Can you tell me what I did wrong? …",
  "language": "en",
  "createdAt": "2026-06-09T08:22:53Z",
  "likes": 18,
  "replies": 21,
  "likedByAuthor": false,
  "pinnedByAuthor": false,
  "imageUrl": "https://p16-comment-sg-sign.tiktokcdn-us.com/…",
  "author": {
    "id": "7000000000000000000",
    "username": "example.commenter",
    "nickname": "Example Commenter",
    "secUid": "MS4wLjABAAAA…",
    "avatarUrl": "https://p16-common-sign.tiktokcdn-us.com/…"
  },
  "input": "https://www.tiktok.com/@laurynchayce/video/7567121744457125150"
}
```

### How much does it cost?

You pay only for comments returned, with no start fee and no monthly fee. On normal
runs, Apify's own platform costs are included in the price.

| Apify plan | Free | Starter | Scale | Business |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Per 1,000 comments | $0.249 | $0.079 | $0.059 | $0.039 |

### Live HTTP API

This Actor also runs in Standby mode:

```sh
curl "https://serpdata--tiktok-comments-scraper.apify.actor/comments?video=7567121744457125150" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $APIFY_TOKEN"
```

Each response holds one page of `items` and a `cursor`. Pass the cursor back as
`cursor` for the next page; it is `null` on the last page. You are charged per comment
returned. Errors return JSON with a `message` and are never charged; any `5xx` status is
safe to retry.

Standby runs cost more than normal runs: Apify also bills you for the Actor's platform
usage, including the 5 minutes it keeps running after your last request.

### Frequently asked questions

#### Is it legal to scrape TikTok comments?

Comments on public videos can be read without an account. Commenters' names, handles and
photos are personal data, protected in the EU by the GDPR and by similar laws elsewhere.
Only collect them if you have a lawful reason to, check TikTok's terms of service, and
get legal advice for your use case.

#### Does it include replies?

Each comment has its reply count. The replies themselves are not included yet.
