## FAQ

### Which states have lien data?

Florida, Connecticut and Colorado. Change the state to CT or CO for the same list there. Other covered states export companies without lien fields.

### What does each row show?

Company name, state, entity ID and status, plus the number of active UCC filings, the latest filing date, the latest secured party (lender) and the next lapse date. Full rows also carry addresses and the registered agent.

### How are liens matched to companies?

By the company's exact legal name as filed, for business debtors only. Filings under a variant name or against an individual are not matched, so the list is a floor, not every lien in the state.

### How fresh is the lien data?

Each row carries ucc_as_of, the date of the lien data it was matched against. Company records come from the state register's current data.

### Can I narrow the list?

Yes: add a county (e.g. Miami-Dade), a city or ZIP, a formation date range, or a word that must appear in the company name, such as "trucking". Raise maxResults for more rows.

### Does it include phone numbers or emails?

No. Rows carry what the state registers publish: company names, addresses, registered agent and, in Florida, officers. No phone numbers or email addresses.

## About this Actor

This example demonstrates how to use [Business Entity List Export: LLCs & Corporations by State](https://apify.com/shelvick/bulk-business-entity-list.md) with a specific input configuration. ## How to integrate an Actor?

This Task's input is already configured above. Use it as-is rather than inventing a new one.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For full API examples (JavaScript, Python, CLI, MCP, OpenAPI), see this Task's Actor page: https://apify.com/shelvick/bulk-business-entity-list.md

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).
