## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Content Rewards Campaign Finder

Find **active clipping campaigns on Whop Content Rewards** in seconds, with every number you need to decide where to clip: payout per 1,000 views per platform, minimum and maximum payout per clip, remaining budget, whether an application is required, requirements text and reference materials.

Built by clippers, for clippers: instead of scrolling the discovery page every day, run this Actor (or schedule it) and get a clean table you can sort, filter and export, or feed into your own tools via the Apify API.

### What you get

One dataset record per campaign:

### Input

| Field | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|
| `lists` | Public lists to scan: `trending`, `featured`, `newest` | `["trending", "newest"]` |
| `query` | Optional free-text search (e.g. `podcast`, `AI startup`) | — |
| `platforms` | Keep campaigns paying on at least one of `youtube`, `tiktok`, `instagram`, `x`, `facebook` | all |
| `min_rate_per_1k_usd` | Minimum payout per 1,000 views on the selected platforms | — |
| `min_remaining_usd` | Minimum remaining budget | — |
| `keyword` | Word that must appear in the name, requirements or content type | — |
| `exclude_requires_application` | Skip campaigns you must apply to first | `false` |
| `max_results` | Cap on campaigns returned (you pay per returned campaign) | `100` |

Example: TikTok campaigns paying at least $1 per 1k views with $500+ left, no application:

```json
{ "lists": ["trending", "newest"], "platforms": ["tiktok"], "min_rate_per_1k_usd": 1, "min_remaining_usd": 500, "exclude_requires_application": true, "max_results": 50 }
```

### Pricing

Pay per event: **$0.01 per campaign returned** (after filters, up to `max_results`). A typical run returning 100 campaigns costs $1.00. Nothing is charged if the source is unavailable or the run fails before returning results.

### Limits and fair use

- Reads only the public, unauthenticated discovery endpoints of contentrewards.com, at most one request per second, identifying itself with a descriptive User-Agent. No login, cookies or private data.
- Data is provided as published by the campaign owners on Whop; always check the campaign page before submitting clips. Budgets and rates change daily.
- This Actor does not submit clips or join campaigns.

### Tips

- Schedule it daily and use the **Newest** list to catch campaigns before they get crowded (`metrics.creators` is your competition).
- Combine with the [Podcast to Highlights](https://apify.com/shortlane/podcast-highlights) Actor to find the best moments of the campaign's reference material.
