## SEC EDGAR Filing Radar

**Unofficial community Actor. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. This is not investment or legal advice.**

Monitor up to 50 public companies by CIK and receive structured records for SEC forms. The Actor reads the official SEC submissions API, not search pages or third-party feeds.

### What it delivers

- accession number, company name, padded CIK, form, filing and report dates;
- 8-K item numbers when supplied by EDGAR;
- canonical filing-index and primary-document URLs;
- stateful deduplication across schedules, tasks, webhooks, and agent calls.

The default is a repeatable snapshot. For a monitor, enable `onlyNew` and use the same `stateKey` for every run of one watchlist. A first monitor run delivers matching filings in the lookback window; later runs skip accessions already delivered. Set `resetState` once to replay the window.

The SEC asks automated clients to identify themselves. `userAgent` is therefore required and must contain a contact email. Keep scheduled request volume within SEC fair-access guidance.
