## Pricing

Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# Actor input Schema

## `domains` (type: `array`):

Domains or website URLs to check, e.g. allbirds.com or https://www.tentree.com. www., paths and subdomains of the same domain are merged and analysed once. Non-Shopify sites get a 'notShopify' row.

## `datasetId` (type: `string`):

ID of an Apify dataset to read domains from, e.g. the output of signalscouter/company-tech-stack-signals filtered to Shopify. Combined with the list above.

## `datasetField` (type: `string`):

Field holding the domain in that dataset.

## `includeCatalogStats` (type: `boolean`):

Read the public /products.json catalogue and add price range, discount share, in-stock share, vendors, product types and new-product counts to each store row.

## `maxProductPages` (type: `integer`):

250 products per page. 10 pages = up to 2,500 products. The row says 'truncated' if a store has more.

## `exportProducts` (type: `boolean`):

Also output one row per product (charged per product row). In monitor mode, only new or changed products are output.

## `maxProductsPerStore` (type: `integer`):

Cap on product rows per store. 0 = no cap (everything scanned).

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Plain-text description on product rows (max 3,000 characters).

## `includeVariants` (type: `boolean`):

SKU, price, compare-at price and stock flag per variant on product rows.

## `monitorChanges` (type: `boolean`):

Remember each store's catalogue between runs. Store rows get a 'changes' block; with 'Export product rows' on, only products that are new or changed price or stock since the last run are output and charged. Schedule it daily.

## `monitorId` (type: `string`):

Name for this monitor's memory. Use different IDs for separate watch lists. Don't run two runs with the same ID at the same time.

## `baselineOnFirstRun` (type: `boolean`):

On a store's first monitored run, save the catalogue without outputting every product as 'new'.

## `maxDomains` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many unique domains. 0 = all.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Different stores checked at the same time. Requests to one store are always one at a time.

## `requestDelaySecs` (type: `number`):

Minimum gap between two requests to the same store (robots.txt crawl-delay is honoured if longer). Catalogue pages are also paced by Shopify's own cost header.

## `requestTimeoutSecs` (type: `number`):

Per-request timeout.
