**Turn a Trip.com destination into a hotel table: hundreds of hotels per city, each priced live for your dates, with taxes and fees, guest score and its breakdown, street address, coordinates, facilities and pictures, one row per hotel.** Type a city and press Start: no Trip.com account, no hotel links to collect first.

Good to know when you use the data:

- `id` is Trip.com's hotel id and `url` its permanent page: both are stable from one run to the next, so you can join runs over time.
- Prices are read live for your dates at run time. `pricePerNight` is the nightly rate of one room; `totalPrice` is what the stay costs with taxes and fees, all rooms and nights included.
- `checkIn`, `checkOut` are calendar dates (YYYY-MM-DD) and `scrapedAt` is RFC 3339 in UTC.
- Picture addresses point to Trip.com's image servers. Download the pictures you want to keep rather than relying on the links for years.
- A field Trip.com has no value for is `null`, never an empty string. Numbers are numbers, never text with a currency sign.

**What is Trip.com?**
Trip.com is the international travel booking site of Trip.com Group, the company behind Ctrip (携程) in China, with hotels in every country. This scraper reads its hotel search and hotel pages as any visitor sees them, in English.

**What does the scraper return for each hotel?**
One flat row with 58 fields: identity and stars, the price of the cheapest room Trip.com shows for your stay (nightly, before discount, offers, taxes and fees, total), cancellation and breakfast, the guest score and its four sub-scores, the street address and coordinates, the nearest airport and stations, check-in and check-out times, the full facility list, the staff languages, the description and the pictures.

**Are the prices live, and what do they include?**
Yes. Every price is read at run time for the dates, adults and currency of the run. `pricePerNight` is the nightly rate of one room as Trip.com displays it, `taxesAndFees` adds the taxes and fees of the stay, including city tax paid at the hotel when Trip.com shows it, and `totalPrice` is the full cost of the stay for every room and night.

**Do I need a Trip.com account?**
No. There is no login, no account and no API key. The scraper reads what Trip.com shows any visitor.

**Can I search several cities, hotels and addresses in one run?**
Yes. Put as many lines as you like in `searches` and `startUrls`, in any mix. Each destination gets its own cap (`maxItems`), and a hotel found for two destinations is delivered once.

**How many hotels can I get?**
There is no fixed limit in the scraper: `maxItems` sets how many hotels each destination returns. A city is read area by area and by star class, so one run goes deep: 400 different hotels for Paris on 28 September 2026, out of the 5,901 Trip.com listed that day. A landmark gives the few dozen hotels closest to it, an area the hotels inside it.

**How do the price and rating orders work?**
Trip.com ranks each part of the city in the order you pick. The scraper compares the hotels it read for the destination, your cap plus up to 100 more, and keeps the first ones in that order. On a large city the 50 cheapest rows are the cheapest of the hotels compared, not always of the whole city: raise `maxItems` to compare more.

**Why do two runs not return exactly the same hotels?**
Trip.com rotates part of its recommendations from one visit to the next. The first hotels of each area are stable; deeper in the list some change. Join your runs on `id` to follow the hotels you care about, or list them by id or page address for a fixed set.

**Why does a hotel have no price?**
When Trip.com has no room left for your dates and party, the row still comes back with the hotel's details, `isAvailable` set to `false` and the price fields `null`. Try other dates or fewer adults for that hotel.

**What happens when I type a landmark or a station?**
Trip.com measures each hotel's distance to it, and the scraper returns the closest first unless you pick another order. The distance is in `nearby`, for example "1,050 ft straight-line distance from Eiffel Tower".

**Why is `area` sometimes empty while `nearby` is filled?**
Trip.com names a zone (Champs Elysées, La Defense, Montparnasse) for part of the hotels only. When it has none, `area` is `null` and `nearby` still tells what is close to the hotel. The street address is on nearly every row.

**Which currencies are supported?**

What to look for, one per line: a city (<code>Paris</code>, <code>Tokyo</code>), an area (<code>Shibuya</code>), a landmark or station (<code>Eiffel Tower</code>), a hotel name (<code>Marina Bay Sands</code>) or a Trip.com hotel id (<code>717311</code>). Every row is completed from the hotel's own page, so <code>50</code> takes about a minute and <code>150</code> about three. A hotel name, id or hotel address gives one row whatever the cap.

Number of adult guests, up to 20. <code>2</code> is what Trip.com shows by default. A large party can be priced over several rooms: the <code>rooms</code> column of each row tells how many.

## `currency` (type: `string`):

Currency of every price on the rows. Trip.com converts at its own rate, so pick the one you report in.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

<b>Recommended</b> is Trip.com's own ranking. The two <b>price</b> orders start from the cheapest or the most expensive nightly rate; <b>guest rating</b> puts the best scored first; <b>most reviewed</b> starts with the hotels guests talk about most; <b>distance</b> starts from the center, or from the landmark you typed. A landmark or station is always read closest first unless you pick another order.<br><br>Trip.com ranks each part of the city in your order; the scraper compares the hotels it read (your cap plus up to 100 more) and keeps the first ones.
