## Pricing

from $0.45 / 1,000 rates

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## China CNY Fixing, Shibor & LPR Rates (Official, with History)

Get **China's official exchange-rate fixing and benchmark interest rates** as clean JSON, straight from the **China Foreign Exchange Trade System (中国外汇交易中心, chinamoney.com.cn)**, the PBOC's official publisher. No login, no Chinese needed.

- **CNY central parity rate (人民币汇率中间价)**: the daily fixing for **25 currencies**: USD, EUR, JPY, HKD, GBP, AUD, NZD, SGD, CHF, CAD, MOP, MYR, RUB, ZAR, KRW, AED, SAR, HUF, PLN, DKK, SEK, NOK, TRY, MXN and THB
- **Shibor**: overnight, 1W, 2W, 1M, 3M, 6M, 9M and 1Y
- **Loan Prime Rate (LPR)**: 1-year and 5-year, published on the 20th of each month
- **Latest values or any date range**, with the change since the previous fixing (in rate units for FX, in basis points for Shibor and LPR)
- Every fixing also converted to **CNY per one unit** of the foreign currency, whichever way the pair is quoted

### Use cases

- **Treasury, finance and accounting**: official CNY rates for invoicing, revaluation and reporting.
- **FX and macro research**: track the PBOC's daily fixing and the onshore rate curve.
- **Trade and payments**: CNY rates for 25 currencies in one feed.
- **Lending and real estate**: LPR history, the benchmark for Chinese loans and mortgages.
- **Dashboards**: schedule a daily run after 9:15 China time and send it to Google Sheets or your database.

### Example input

Latest values for everything:

```json
{}
```

USD and EUR fixings plus LPR since 2023:

```json
{
  "series": ["cnyFixing", "lpr"],
  "dateFrom": "2023-01-01",
  "currencyPairs": ["USD", "EUR"]
}
```

### Output

A CNY fixing:

```json
{
  "type": "cnyFixing",
  "date": "2026-10-09",
  "pair": "USD/CNY",
  "baseCurrency": "USD",
  "quoteCurrency": "CNY",
  "baseUnits": 1,
  "rate": 6.733,
  "currency": "USD",
  "currencyName": "US dollar",
  "cnyPerUnit": 6.733,
  "previousDate": "2026-10-08",
  "change": -0.0037
}
```

A Shibor and an LPR record:

```json
{ "type": "shibor", "date": "2026-10-10", "tenor": "O/N", "ratePct": 1.2933, "previousDate": "2026-10-09", "changeBp": -1.97 }
{ "type": "lpr", "date": "2024-02-20", "tenor": "5Y", "ratePct": 3.95, "previousDate": "2024-01-22", "changeBp": -25 }
```

- Pairs are quoted the way the CFETS publishes them: `USD/CNY` and `100JPY/CNY` (CNY per foreign unit), `CNY/MYR` and `CNY/KRW` (foreign units per CNY). `cnyPerUnit` always gives CNY per one unit of the foreign currency.
- In history runs, `change` / `changeBp` compare with the previous published date in your range; latest-value runs carry the official change of the day (`changePips` for FX, `changeBp` for Shibor).
- Dates are China dates. The fixing is published at 9:15 and Shibor at 11:00 China time on business days; LPR on the 20th of each month.

### Pricing

**$0.0005 per record.** The latest values for everything (35 records) cost under $0.02; a full year of USD/CNY fixings (about 245 records) costs about $0.12.

### Notes and limits

- History goes back several years; long ranges are fetched in yearly pieces automatically.
- Official figures as published; this Actor does not calculate or estimate any rates.
- Only public data is collected.
