## Pricing

from $1.80 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## China Electronics Prices & Specs Scraper (ZOL)

Track **what consumer electronics cost in China and what's inside them**. Data comes from **ZOL (中关村在线)**, China's biggest electronics product database. No login, no browser.

- **13 categories**: smartphones, laptops, graphics cards, CPUs, monitors, TVs, motherboards, memory, SSDs, desktop PCs, robot vacuums, refrigerators and washing machines
- **Price in CNY**, price ranges for product series, **user rating**, review count and **popularity rank**
- **Full specs** (optional): launch date and 20-70 spec fields per product, grouped by section (display, processor, camera, battery...)
- **Sort** phones and laptops by popularity, newest, price, reviews or rating
- **Filter** by name: `RTX 5070`, `iPhone`, `华为`, `小米`...

### Use cases

- **Consumer electronics brands and distributors**: monitor Chinese launches, prices and specs of competitors (Huawei, Xiaomi, vivo, OPPO, Honor, Lenovo...).
- **PC hardware market**: GPU and CPU street prices in China, e.g. the NVIDIA RTX 50 series.
- **Market research**: what sells in China and at what price point.
- **Product databases**: enrich your catalogue with Chinese models and specs.

### Example input

```json
{
  "categories": ["phones", "gpus"],
  "sortBy": "newest",
  "maxProductsPerCategory": 50,
  "includeSpecs": true
}
```

### Output

```json
{
  "type": "product",
  "category": "phones",
  "categoryEnglish": "Smartphones",
  "productId": "2178313",
  "name": "vivo X500 Pro Max(12GB/256GB)",
  "slogan": "蔡司2亿APO超级长焦，蓝晶×天玑9600 Pro，蔡司超动态主摄",
  "price": 6999,
  "priceMin": 6999,
  "priceMax": 6999,
  "priceText": "6999",
  "currency": "CNY",
  "rating": 6.8,
  "reviewCount": 2,
  "hotRank": 1,
  "launchDate": "2026-09-21",
  "specs": {
    "上市日期": "2026年9月21日",
    "产品型号": "vivo X500 Pro Max",
    "机身颜色": "大地回声，晴天，览霞，摄夜",
    "长度": "163.32mm",
    "厚度": "7.95mm"
  },
  "specSections": { "基本参数": { "...": "..." }, "屏幕": { "...": "..." } },
  "specsUrl": "https://detail.zol.com.cn/2179/2178313/param.shtml"
}
```

- Names, spec labels and values are in Chinese as published by ZOL.
- `price` is ZOL's reference price; for product series (e.g. TVs in several sizes) `price` is null and `priceMin` / `priceMax` give the range. `priceText` can also be a status such as 概念产品 (concept) or 停产 (discontinued).
- `hotRank` is ZOL's popularity rank (shown for some categories).
- `launchDate` can be a full date, a month (`2026-09`) or a year (`2026`).

### Pricing

**$0.002 per product**, specs included. 50 products cost $0.10.

### Notes and limits

ZOL shows a human check on deeper list pages, and we never try to get around it. In practice:

- **Graphics cards and CPUs**: several hundred products per run.
- **Phones and laptops**: the first 3-4 pages, about 75-100 products **per sort order**. Run with different sort orders (popular, newest, price...) to cover more.
- **Other categories**: the top 25 or so products in ZOL's popularity order.
- If ZOL asks for a human check, the run stops cleanly, keeps everything saved so far and says so in the status message. If it happens often, raise **Delay between requests**.

# Actor input Schema

## `categories` (type: `array`):

Product categories to scrape.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Order of the list. Phones and laptops support all orders; other categories always use ZOL's popularity order.

## `maxProductsPerCategory` (type: `integer`):

How many products to save from each category (see the limits in the README).

## `nameContains` (type: `array`):

Only products whose name contains one of these, e.g. RTX 5070, iPhone, 华为, 小米. Case-insensitive.

## `includeSpecs` (type: `boolean`):

Open each product's spec page and add launch date and every spec field (20-70 per product). One extra request per product, fetched slowly.

## `requestDelaySecs` (type: `integer`):

Pause between page requests. Raise it if runs stop early with a human-check message.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Not needed for normal use.

## Actor input object example

  "maxProductsPerCategory": 50,
  "includeSpecs": false,

  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
