## Pricing

from $0.45 / 1,000 price records

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## China Fuel Prices by Province: Gasoline & Diesel History

Get **China's regulated pump prices** as clean JSON: **92, 95 and 98 gasoline and 0# diesel for all 31 provinces**, every price adjustment back to 2009, the national benchmark price per tonne since 2000 and the market forecast for the next adjustment. No login, no Chinese needed.

- **Province pump prices (CNY per litre)**: 92, 95 and 89 gasoline and 0# diesel, with the previous price and the change at each adjustment
- **98 gasoline and winter diesel (-10, -20, -35)** for the latest prices, where a province sells them
- **Full history**: every adjustment, about 7,200 province prices since 2009 (complete for all provinces from about 2017)
- **National benchmark (CNY per tonne)**: the NDRC maximum gasoline and diesel price at each adjustment since 2000, with the change
- **Next adjustment forecast**: the date of the next 10-working-day window and the expected change per tonne and per litre

China sets maximum fuel prices centrally and adjusts them every 10 working days in line with crude oil; each province has its own price list.

### Use cases

- **Logistics and fleets**: diesel costs by province for freight quotes, fuel surcharges and route costing.
- **Energy and commodities research**: track China's retail fuel prices against crude, province by province.
- **Ride-hailing, car and EV analysis**: running costs for gasoline vehicles by region.
- **Dashboards and alerts**: schedule a daily run with **Only new adjustments** on and get a record only when prices change, plus the forecast before each window.

### Example input

Latest prices for all provinces, the national benchmark and the forecast:

```json
{}
```

Beijing and Guangdong since 2024:

```json
{
  "provinces": ["Beijing", "Guangdong"],
  "dateFrom": "2024-01-01"
}
```

### Output

A province price:

```json
{
  "type": "provinceFuelPrice",
  "effectiveDate": "2026-09-25",
  "province": "北京",
  "provinceEnglish": "Beijing",
  "gasoline92": 8.61,
  "gasoline95": 9.17,
  "gasoline98": 10.67,
  "gasoline89": 8.06,
  "diesel0": 8.36,
  "dieselMinus10": 8.86,
  "dieselMinus20": 9.28,
  "dieselMinus35": 9.61,
  "change92": 0.32,
  "change95": 0.34,
  "change89": 0.3,
  "changeDiesel0": 0.34,
  "previous92": 8.29,
  "previous95": 8.83,
  "previous89": 7.76,
  "previousDiesel0": 8.02,
  "unit": "CNY/litre"
}
```

The national benchmark and the forecast:

```json
{ "type": "nationalBenchmark", "effectiveDate": "2026-09-25", "gasolinePerTonne": 9960, "dieselPerTonne": 8890, "gasolineChange": 395, "dieselChange": 385, "unit": "CNY/tonne" }
{ "type": "nextAdjustment", "windowDate": "2026-10-15", "windowTime": "24:00 China time", "expectedDirection": "down", "expectedChangePerTonne": -150, "expectedChangePerLitreMin": -0.11, "expectedChangePerLitreMax": -0.14 }
```

- `effectiveDate` is the first day of the new prices (adjustments take effect at midnight China time).
- `gasoline98` and the winter diesel grades are filled only in latest-price runs, and only when the second source shows the same adjustment; they are `null` in history and where a province doesn't sell that grade.
- `gasoline89` is `null` where 89 gasoline isn't sold.
- The forecast is a market estimate published before the window; the official change is announced by the NDRC on the day.

### Pricing

**$0.0005 per record.** The latest prices for everything (33 records) cost under $0.02; all 31 provinces since 2024 (about 1,700 records) cost about $0.85; the full history (about 7,600 records) about $3.80.

### Notes and limits

- Sources: Eastmoney's data center (NDRC adjustment records) for prices and history, and qiyoujiage.com for 98 gasoline, winter diesel and the forecast.
- Figures as published; a few early records may show 92 above 95. History before about 2017 does not cover every province.
- Only public data is collected.
