## Changelog

### 0.3.x (2026-11-04, label fix, released with Damon's OK)

- Report statistics have always used organic products only (sponsored ads excluded); this is now labelled everywhere: new report field `statsScope` (organic-only / no sponsored products / only sponsored products → then the sponsored ones are used and it says so), the price insight names its scope and gives lowest/median/highest, the report table shows total, organic and sponsored counts plus lowest/median/highest price with "see Stats cover" labels, REPORT.html shows the three counts and the scope, the comparison lists each search's scope, README explains why the report's lowest price can be above the cheapest listed product. Found in the EUR example run of 3 Nov (report min €20.98 vs a sponsored product at €5.54). No change to which products are analysed, to prices or to charges.

### 0.3.x (2026-11-03, later)

- A pasted single-product link now gets a clear "not supported, paste a search or category link" report (not charged) instead of a generic failure. Product pages carry their data only in AliExpress's own scripts (access test 3 Nov).
- README pricing section lists every event, the start fee, plan discounts and examples. Pricing-tab texts updated.

### 0.3 (2026-11-03)

- New input **Sort results by** (`sortBy`): AliExpress default or most orders (best sellers first). Tested: 60/60 products came back in sold order. Price and newest sorts were tested too but AliExpress did not return them reliably sorted, so they are not offered.
- Pasted links with a sort keep it and show it in the search label; the same search twice gets #2, #3 so reports don't merge.
- First run is cheaper and faster: one example keyword and 60 products per search by default (one AliExpress page).
- Input form grouped into Filters, Tracking and Advanced sections.
- Reliability: AliExpress sometimes returns a stripped result page (prices but no sold counts, ratings or listing dates; seen once in a test on 3 Nov). The Actor now detects it, retries with a fresh connection up to 3 times, and if it stays stripped the page is reported as failed and **not charged**.
- Store description now names what people search for: product research, dropshipping, best sellers, price tracker.

### 0.2 (2026-11-03)

- Report wording made accurate: every report starts with what the numbers are based on (the products AliExpress showed for the search, all-time sold counts, today's prices; rounded counts flagged as lower bounds). No more "most sales happen", "fastest new listing", "rising stars" or "strongest demand" wording.
- Renamed fields: `soldPerDay` → `avgSoldPerDaySinceListed` (lifetime average, not current momentum); report `soldTotal`/`soldMedian` → `soldAllTimeTotal`/`soldAllTimeMedian`; `risingStars` → `newListingsHighAvgSales`; price bands `sold`/`soldSharePercent` → `soldAllTime`/`shareOfSampleSoldPercent`. New report fields: `sampleNote`, `organicProductsAnalyzed`, `roundedSoldCounts`.
- `soldIsExact` → `soldIsUnrounded` (it only says whether AliExpress gave the full number; counts are AliExpress-reported, not verified). Tracking: `soldSinceLastRunUnrounded` is false when a count was rounded in either run; snapshots from 0.1 still work.
- Wording: "AliExpress-reported cumulative sold counts" everywhere (no "exact sales" claims).
- Tests for the wording and the new fields.

### 0.1 (2026-11-03)

- First version: AliExpress search by keyword or pasted search/category link; exact sold counts, price, original price, discount, rating, listing date, sales per day, Choice and sponsored flags, ships-from, category.
- Report per search: price bands (where sales happen), top sellers, rising stars (young listings that sell fast), best value, Choice share; comparison for several searches; shareable HTML report.
- Tracking between runs: sold since last run, sales per day since last run, price changes, new products in the results.
- Prices: `price` = normal price (seller offer), `originalPrice` = list price, `newUserPrice` = first-order welcome deal; welcome-gift cards mapped to the real product.
- Min/max price filters applied to the normal price (AliExpress's own filter in pasted links let through products outside the range by normal price in tests).
