## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Website Marketing Stack & Contact Extractor

Find out which marketing, sales and analytics tools any company uses, and get its public contact details, from a list of websites. Paste in domains and get back one clean row per company: its marketing technology stack, public emails, phone numbers and social profiles.

### What it finds

**50 tools across 20+ categories**, detected from each site's public pages:

- **Analytics:** Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Plausible, Matomo, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Heap, Segment
- **Advertising pixels:** Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok, X (Twitter), Microsoft Advertising, Reddit
- **Marketing automation & CRM:** HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, Klaviyo
- **Live chat & support:** Intercom, Drift, Zendesk, Crisp, Tawk.to, Tidio
- **ABM & data enrichment:** 6sense, Demandbase, Clearbit, ZoomInfo WebSights
- **Behaviour analytics & testing:** Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, Optimizely, VWO
- **Website platform:** WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, Framer, Shopify, WooCommerce, Next.js
- **Other:** Calendly, Stripe, OneTrust, Cookiebot, Cloudflare

**Contacts:** public email addresses, phone numbers, and LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and GitHub profiles. The homepage plus contact, about and team pages are scanned.

### Who it's for

- **Sales & SDR teams:** build prospect lists by technology ("every company running HubSpot and Intercom") and personalise outreach.
- **Agencies & SaaS marketers:** find companies using a competitor's tool, or sites missing a tool you sell.
- **Growth & RevOps:** enrich a lead list with stack and social data before it goes into your CRM.
- **Competitor research:** see exactly which ad pixels, CRM and analytics your competitors run.

### How to use

1. Paste your websites into **Websites**, one per line. Bare domains like "hubspot.com" are fine.
2. Optionally set **Max pages per website** (default 3: homepage plus two contact/about pages).
3. Click **Start**. Export the results as CSV, Excel or JSON, or pull them through the API or integrations (Zapier, Make, Google Sheets).

### Output example

```
{
  "domain": "acme-b2b.com",
  "title": "Acme B2B — Revenue Platform",
  "toolsCount": 8,
  "toolNames": "Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, HubSpot, Hotjar, Next.js, Intercom, Calendly",
  "emails": ["hello@acme-b2b.com", "sales@acme-b2b.com"],
  "phones": ["+1-415-555-0100"],
  "linkedin": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/acme-b2b",
  "twitter": "https://x.com/acmeb2b",
  "status": "ok"
}
```

Each row also includes the full "tools" list with categories, the page "description", "pagesScanned", and a "status"/"error" field, so failed sites are easy to filter out.

### Good to know

- It reads only publicly available pages, the same HTML any visitor's browser loads. It does not log in or bypass any access controls.
- Detection is based on each tool's public script and tag signatures. Tools loaded only after cookie consent, or only on deeper pages, may not be detected.
- Sites that block automated requests will show a status of "failed" with the reason.
- Use extracted contact details in line with applicable laws (such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM) and each website's terms.
