## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs Scraper: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workable, Recruitee, Personio & Teamtailor Job Postings API

Scrape **all open jobs** from company career pages hosted on **Greenhouse** (boards.greenhouse.io), **Lever** (jobs.lever.co), **Ashby** (jobs.ashbyhq.com), **SmartRecruiters** (jobs.smartrecruiters.com) **Workable** (apply.workable.com), **Recruitee** (company.recruitee.com), **Personio** (company.jobs.personio.de) and **Teamtailor** (company.teamtailor.com) in one run, with one clean schema. Paste board URLs or just company slugs (`stripe`, `ramp`, `spotify`) and the Actor works out which applicant tracking system (ATS) each company uses.

Common names for this tool include **Greenhouse jobs scraper, Lever jobs scraper, Ashby jobs scraper, SmartRecruiters jobs scraper, Workable jobs scraper, Recruitee jobs scraper, Personio jobs scraper, Teamtailor jobs scraper, European ATS jobs, ATS job scraper, career page scraper, job postings API, hiring signals data** and **startup jobs dataset**.

### What data can I extract?

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `company`, `source` (greenhouse / lever / ashby / smartrecruiters / workable) | `ramp`, `ashby` |
| `title`, `department` | Security Engineer, Cloud · Engineering / Backend |
| `location`, `workplaceType` (Remote / Hybrid / On-site) | New York, NY; Remote (US) · Hybrid |
| `employmentType` | FullTime |
| `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency` (where the company publishes pay) | 211400 · 290600 · USD |
| `postedAt`, `updatedAt` | 2026-04-07T17:12:35Z |
| `url` (apply link), `jobId` | https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/… |
| `description` (optional, plain text) | full job description |

### Use cases

- **Build a niche job board** (remote, AI, climate, fintech, crypto) from hundreds of startup career pages.
- **Sales prospecting and hiring signals.** Find companies hiring "data engineer" or "SOC analyst" as a buying-intent signal for your product.
- **Salary benchmarking.** Collect published pay ranges by title and location. Many US postings now include ranges.
- **Job alerts.** Schedule a daily run with `postedWithinDays: 1` and send new roles at your target companies to Slack, email or Google Sheets.
- **Labor-market research.** Track hiring velocity by company, department or city over time.

### How to scrape Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby jobs

1. Click **Try for free**.
2. Add companies, either as full board URLs or as slugs: `https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb`, `https://jobs.lever.co/spotify`, `ramp`.
3. Optionally filter by `keywords` (in the title), `locations`, `postedWithinDays`, or cap `maxJobsPerCompany`.
4. Run, then download JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read the dataset with the Apify API.

### How is this different from other job scrapers?

| | This Actor | Single-ATS scrapers | LinkedIn / Indeed scrapers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Greenhouse + Lever + Ashby + SmartRecruiters + Workable in one run | ✅ | ❌ one platform each | ❌ |
| Same output schema across platforms | ✅ | ❌ | n/a |
| Needs proxies or a browser | ❌ public JSON job-board endpoints | varies | usually yes, slower and costlier |
| Login or cookies | ❌ | ❌ | often |
| Data comes straight from the employer's own board | ✅ | ✅ | reposted, often stale |

### Integrations

Use the Apify API, webhooks, or the Zapier, Make, n8n and Google Sheets integrations. Schedule runs in Apify Console.

### FAQ

**Is it legal to scrape job postings?** This Actor reads job postings that companies publish openly for distribution through their ATS's public job-board endpoints. It collects no personal data. You are responsible for following applicable laws and each site's terms.

**What if a company isn't on one of these five?** It's skipped and logged. For Workday career sites use our [Workday Jobs Scraper](https://apify.com/small-offer-desk/workday-jobs-scraper). iCIMS and others aren't supported yet. Open an issue to request one.

**How do I find a company's slug?** It's the last part of the board URL, for example `airbnb` in boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb, `Equinox` in jobs.smartrecruiters.com/Equinox, or `huggingface` in apply.workable.com/huggingface. SmartRecruiters identifiers are case-sensitive. If you're unsure, paste the full URL.

**Why is salary empty for some jobs?** Salary is only returned when the company publishes it, which is most common on Ashby and Lever (SmartRecruiters and Workable public feeds don't include pay) and for US roles.

**How fast is it?** Usually a few seconds per company. No browser rendering is involved.

**How much does it cost?** The Actor is currently free to use. You pay only Apify platform usage, which is a fraction of a cent per run on small jobs and covered by Apify's free monthly credit. Paid per-result pricing may be added later and will be shown on this page first.

**Can I get only new jobs?** Yes. Set `postedWithinDays: 1` and schedule a daily run.

### Supported systems (8)

| ATS | Input example | Public source used |
|---|---|---|
| Greenhouse | `https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb` | Job Board API |
| Lever | `https://jobs.lever.co/spotify` | Postings API |
| Ashby | `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp` | Posting API (with salary) |
| SmartRecruiters | `https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/BoschGroup` | Posting API |
| Workable | `https://apply.workable.com/huggingface` | Widget API |
| Recruitee | `https://bunq.recruitee.com` | Careers Site API (`/api/offers/`) |
| Personio | `https://personio.jobs.personio.de` | XML job feed (`/xml`) |
| Teamtailor | `https://career.teamtailor.com` | Jobs RSS feed (`/jobs.rss`) |

**Tip:** board URLs are the most accurate. A bare slug is tried on each system in turn, and two companies can use the same slug on different systems.
