## Pricing

Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Shopify Products & Prices Scraper: Any Shopify Store, No Proxies

Extract **all products, prices, discounts, variants, SKUs and stock status** from any Shopify store or collection. Paste a store URL and get a clean dataset in seconds. It's built for **competitor price monitoring, dropshipping and product research, catalog migration, and sale/discount tracking**.

Other names for this tool: **Shopify scraper, Shopify product scraper, Shopify price tracker, Shopify store scraper, products.json scraper, ecommerce price monitoring, competitor price tracker**.

### What data can I extract?

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `store`, `title`, `vendor`, `productType`, `tags`, `url`, images | www.allbirds.com · Women's Flip Flop · Allbirds |
| `priceMin` / `priceMax` or variant `price` | 25 |
| `compareAtPrice`, `discountPct`, `onSale` | 50 · 50 · true |
| Variant mode: `sku`, `options` (size/color), `available`, weight | A12513W050 · \["5"] · false |
| `createdAt`, `publishedAt`, `updatedAt` | spot new arrivals and restocks |
| `description` (optional) | plain text |

### Use cases

- **Competitor price monitoring.** Schedule daily runs and diff prices and discounts.
- **Dropshipping and product research.** Find best-sellers, new launches and price points in a niche.
- **Sale tracking.** Use `onlyOnSale: true` to list everything discounted, with the discount %.
- **Catalog migration and backup.** Export a full catalog to CSV or Excel.
- **Stock alerts.** Watch the `available` flag on specific variants.

### How to scrape a Shopify store

1. Click **Try for free**.
2. Paste one or more store URLs, or a collection URL such as `https://kith.com/collections/mens-footwear`.
3. Choose `outputMode`: `product` gives one row per product, `variant` gives one row per SKU. Optionally set `onlyOnSale`, `onlyAvailable` and `maxProductsPerStore`.
4. Run, then export JSON, CSV or Excel, or use the API.

#### Input example

```json
{ "startUrls": ["https://www.allbirds.com", "https://kith.com/collections/mens-footwear"],
  "outputMode": "variant", "onlyOnSale": true, "onlyAvailable": false, "maxProductsPerStore": 500, "includeDescription": false }
```

#### Output example

```json
{ "store": "www.allbirds.com", "title": "Women's Allbirds Flip Flop - Dusty Pink", "vendor": "Allbirds", "sku": "A12513W050",
  "options": ["5"], "price": 25, "compareAtPrice": 50, "discountPct": 50, "onSale": true, "available": false, "currency": "USD" }
```

### Comparison

| | This Actor | Browser-based ecommerce scrapers | Paid price-tracking SaaS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Speed | seconds per store (JSON feed) | minutes (renders pages) | n/a |
| Proxies or browser needed | ❌ | ✅ | n/a |
| Variant-level SKU and stock | ✅ | varies | ✅ |
| Discount % computed | ✅ | rarely | ✅ |
| Cost | free Actor plus tiny platform usage | higher compute | monthly subscription |

### FAQ

**Does it work on every Shopify store?** It works on stores that expose Shopify's standard public `/products.json` feed, which most do. Some headless or custom stores turn it off; those are reported and skipped.

**How do I know if a site is Shopify?** Try it. Non-Shopify sites are skipped with a log message.

**Is scraping Shopify stores legal?** It reads only the public product catalog the store serves to every visitor. It collects no customer or personal data. Follow the laws and terms that apply to you.

**Can I track price changes over time?** Yes. Schedule the Actor (daily, for example) and compare datasets, or push results to Google Sheets.

**How much does it cost?** The Actor is currently free to use. You pay only Apify platform usage, which is tiny for JSON scraping and covered by Apify's free monthly credit. Any future per-result pricing will be shown on this page first.

**Why are some prices missing compare-at values?** The store hasn't set a "compare at" price, which means the item isn't on sale.
