## Pricing

Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Workday Jobs Scraper: Job Postings from Any myworkdayjobs.com Career Site

Scrape **open jobs from any Workday career site** (`*.myworkdayjobs.com`), including NVIDIA, Salesforce, Adobe, Workday and thousands of other enterprises. It reads Workday's **public career-site JSON (CXS)**: no login, no browser, no proxies. Filter by keyword, location and posting age, and optionally pull full job descriptions.

You may also know this as a **Workday job scraper, myworkdayjobs scraper, Workday careers API, enterprise job postings dataset** or **hiring signals scraper**.

> **Pricing: currently free.** You pay only Apify platform usage, which is tiny since it's pure JSON with no browser. Any future per-result price will be announced on this page first.

### What data can I extract?

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `company` / `tenant`, `site` | salesforce · External_Career_Site |
| `title`, `jobId` / `jobReqId` | Software Engineering LMTS - Data (Remote) · JR363374 |
| `location`, `additionalLocations`, `country` | California - San Francisco · United States of America |
| `remoteType`, `timeType` | Office Tech-Flexible · Full time |
| `postedOn`, `postedDaysAgo`, `postedAtEstimate`, `startDate` | Posted Today · 0 · 2026-10-12 |
| `hiringEntity` (legal entity) | 100 Salesforce, Inc. |
| `url` (apply link), `description` (plain text) | … |
Fields from `additionalLocations` onward need `includeDetails: true`.

### Use cases

- **Enterprise job boards and aggregators.** Big companies overwhelmingly use Workday, which Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby scrapers miss.
- **Sales intelligence and hiring signals.** See which Fortune 500 companies are hiring for "Snowflake", "SOC analyst" or "SAP", by country.
- **Recruiting and talent mapping.** Monitor competitors' openings daily.
- **Job alerts.** Run on a schedule with `postedWithinDays: 1` and pipe new roles to Slack, email or Google Sheets.
- **Labor-market research.** Track openings by company, country and remote type over time.

### How to use

1. Open a company's careers page, click any job, and copy the URL up to the site name, e.g. `https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite`.
2. Paste one or more into **Workday career sites**. Shorthand `nvidia.wd5/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite` also works, or just a tenant name like `workday`, which the Actor tries to auto-detect.
3. Add keywords, locations and **Posted within days** if you want them.
4. Run, then export JSON, CSV or Excel, or use the API.

#### Input example

```json
{
  "companies": ["https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite", "salesforce.wd12/External_Career_Site", "workday"],
  "keywords": ["engineer"], "locations": ["Remote", "California"],
  "postedWithinDays": 7, "includeDetails": true, "maxJobsPerCompany": 200
}
```

#### Output example

```json
{ "source": "workday", "company": "salesforce", "site": "External_Career_Site", "jobId": "JR363374",
  "title": "Software Engineering LMTS - Data (Remote)", "location": "California - San Francisco",
  "remoteType": "Office Tech-Flexible", "postedOn": "Posted Today", "postedDaysAgo": 0, "postedAtEstimate": "2026-10-12",
  "country": "United States of America", "timeType": "Full time", "hiringEntity": "100 Salesforce, Inc.",
  "url": "https://salesforce.wd12.myworkdayjobs.com/External_Career_Site/job/California---San-Francisco/Software-Engineering-LMTS---Data--Remote-_JR363374" }
```

### Comparison

| | This Actor | Browser-based Workday scrapers | LinkedIn/Indeed scrapers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data source | Workday's public career-site JSON | rendered pages | reposts |
| Proxies or browser | ❌ none | ✅ needed | usually |
| Speed | ~20 jobs per request | slow | slow |
| Multiple companies per run | ✅ | varies | n/a |
| Full description | optional | ✅ | ✅ |

Using Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters or Workable too? See our [ATS Jobs Scraper](https://apify.com/small-offer-desk/ats-jobs-scraper). The output fields are compatible.

### FAQ

**Why is the posted date an estimate?** Workday only shows relative age ("Posted 3 Days Ago", "Posted 30+ Days Ago"). We give `postedDaysAgo` and an estimated date. "30+" means 30 days or more.

**Is there a job limit?** Workday's search returns at most 2,000 jobs per query. Use keywords to narrow large employers.

**Auto-detect didn't find my company.** Paste the full career-site URL. Site names vary (External, Careers, custom names).

**Is it legal?** It reads job postings employers publish publicly for candidates, and collects no personal data. Follow the laws and terms that apply to you.

**How much does it cost?** The Actor is currently free. A typical 100-job run uses well under $0.01 of platform credit.

### Support

Open an issue on the **Issues** tab if a career site fails.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Workday career-site URLs (e.g. https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite), shorthand TENANT.wdN/SITE, or just a tenant name (auto-detect, slower).

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Only jobs whose title contains any of these words. Also used as the Workday search text.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Only jobs whose location/remote type contains any of these (e.g. Remote, California, London).

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

0 = any age. Workday shows age in days ('Posted 3 Days Ago', '30+ Days Ago').

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Fetch each job page for full description, time type, start date, country (slower, 1 extra request per job).

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

0 = no limit (Workday caps listings at 2,000).
