## Master News Aggregator

Collect, merge, deduplicate, enrich, and summarize selected Global News Intelligence sources.

### Input

The input form is defined in `.actor/input_schema.json`. API key fields, where present, use Apify `isSecret: true`.

The Master Aggregator can run both free/open sources and premium API sources. GDELT Cloud and premium sources require BYOK secret inputs.

### Bring Your Own API Key (BYOK)

This Actor does not include third-party API credits. If you enable premium sources such as GDELT Cloud, NewsAPI, Mediastack, NewsData.io, or Event Registry, you must provide your own API key.

You are responsible for any third-party API usage fees. This Actor charges only for data processing, normalization, deduplication, enrichment, and Apify dataset/report generation.

### GDELT Cloud

When `sourcePlatforms` includes `gdelt`, provide `gdeltCloudApiKey` and choose `gdeltContentTypes`:

- `stories`
- `events`
- `entities`
- `all`

Selecting multiple content types creates a mixed output. GDELT Cloud items include `contentType`, `gdeltCloudId`, `significance`, and `articleCount` when available.
