## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Century 21 Spain Scraper – Real Estate Listings

Get every property listed by **[Century 21 España](https://century21.es)** as clean data: **price, previous price (price drops), €/m², built and usable area, bedrooms, bathrooms, parking spaces, floor, condition, energy rating, build year, address, postcode, neighbourhood, city, province, GPS coordinates, features, full description, photos, floor plans, videos, virtual tours and the Century 21 office** that handles each property.

Type a city, province or region (**Málaga, Marbella, Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, Madrid, Granada, Tenerife, Andalucía…**), pick buy, rent or business transfer and a property type, and click Start. Or leave the location empty to export the whole Century 21 Spain catalogue (about 5,000 properties).

### Why this scraper?

- **The whole network:** flats, houses, villas, country estates, shops, restaurants, bars, offices, warehouses, garages, storage rooms, land, buildings and hotels from 50+ Century 21 offices across Spain.
- **Price drops:** `previousPrice` shows the old asking price when an office lowered it.
- **Geocoded:** latitude/longitude, postcode, neighbourhood, city, province and region for every listing.
- **Rich media:** all photos, floor plans, video and virtual tour links.
- **No duplicates, no surprises:** each property once; properties that don't match your filters are never charged.

### Who is it for?

- **Investors** comparing €/m² and price cuts on the Costa del Sol, Costa Blanca, Barcelona or Madrid.
- **Agents and analysts** tracking the stock and pricing of a major international franchise in Spain.
- **Proptech and data teams** building valuation models, maps, alerts and market reports.

### How to use it

1. Add one or more **Locations**: a city ("Marbella"), a province ("Provincia de Málaga"), a region ("Andalucía") or nothing for all of Spain.
2. Pick **Buy, rent or transfer**, a **Property type** and optionally price, bedroom and size filters.
3. Set **Max results** to control cost, and click **Start**.
4. Download as Excel, CSV or JSON, or send the data to Google Sheets.

You can also paste Century 21 result pages (e.g. `https://century21.es/comprar/piso/andalucia/provincia-malaga/marbella`) or single listings (`https://century21.es/ref/103-01899`) in **Century 21 URLs**.

### How much does it cost?

**$2 per 1,000 properties** ($0.002 each), always with full details. Use **Max results** to set a hard cap.

### Notes

- Century 21 loads its search results from an API that its robots.txt asks bots not to use, so this Actor reads the public listing sitemap and each listing page instead. That means a search checks the whole catalogue (offices based in your province first), and a full run takes about 10–12 minutes. With **Max results** set, it stops as soon as it has enough.
- A name that is both a city and a province (Málaga, Valencia, Barcelona, Madrid) means the city; write "Provincia de …" or tick **Search the whole province** for the province.
- Most Century 21 Spain listings are for sale; rentals and business transfers are a small share.
- Agent names, phone numbers and e-mails are not collected; phone numbers and e-mails in descriptions are replaced with `[phone]` / `[email]`.
- The Actor reads public pages at a gentle pace and respects the site's robots.txt.
