## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Guy Hoquet Scraper – France Real Estate for Sale & Rent

Get property listings from **[Guy Hoquet](https://www.guy-hoquet.com)**, one of France's best-known real-estate franchises with about 500 agencies, as clean data: **price or rent, €/m², area, rooms, bedrooms, energy class (DPE), GES, map coordinates, floor, build year, heating, condo charges, agency fees, rental charges, deposit, agency and photos**.

Type a town, department or region (**Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Nantes, Nice, Gironde, Bretagne…**), pick buy or rent, and click Start.

### Why this scraper?

- **Straight from the agencies:** Guy Hoquet listings come from the network's own agencies, many of them exclusive (*exclusivité*) and not on the big portals.
- **Fees made clear:** for sales, the price with and without agency fees and who pays them; for rentals, rent, recoverable charges, security deposit, tenant fees and inventory fees.
- **Energy data:** DPE and GES classes, kWh/m²/year, kg CO₂/m²/year and the estimated yearly energy bill.
- **Whole France:** towns, Paris/Lyon/Marseille districts, departments and regions, plus new-build programmes.
- **Every page, no duplicates:** all results of a search, so you never pay twice for the same listing.

### Who is it for?

- **Investors** comparing prices, €/m² and rents across French towns and districts.
- **Relocation and rental services** that need fresh rentals with their full monthly cost.
- **Agents, analysts and proptech teams** tracking supply, DPE ratings and agency activity.

### What data do you get?

### How to use it

1. Add one or more **Locations**: a town (`Lyon`), a district (`Paris 11e`, `Marseille 8e`, `69003`), a department (`Gironde`, `33`, `Rhône`) or a region (`Bretagne`, `Île-de-France`). Add the department for ambiguous names (`Saint-Denis 93`, `Valence 26`).
2. Pick **Buy or rent** and a **Property type**, and optionally a price range, minimum area or minimum rooms.
3. Set **Max results** to control cost, and click **Start**.
4. Download as Excel, CSV or JSON, or send the data to Google Sheets.

You can also paste Guy Hoquet result pages into **Result page URLs**, for example `https://www.guy-hoquet.com/location/annonces-paris-75000` or `https://www.guy-hoquet.com/immobilier-gironde-33`.

**Tip:** turn off **Include full details** for a faster run with the result-page fields only (price, type, area, rooms, town, short description and first photo).

### How much does it cost?

**$2 per 1,000 listings** ($0.002 each), with or without full details. Listings removed by your type, price, area or rooms filters are not charged. Use **Max results** to set a hard cap.

### Notes

- Town names are matched to Guy Hoquet's own list of places (from its sitemaps), with the official French communes register as a fallback; the log shows which page each location matched. `Paris`, `Lyon` and `Marseille` cover all their districts.
- Department and region pages mix sales and rentals; the Actor keeps only the deal type you picked.
- Map coordinates are the point shown on the listing's map, which agencies may place approximately.
- Phone numbers and e-mail addresses in descriptions are replaced with `[phone]` / `[e-mail]`, and agents' signature lines are removed; staff names and contacts are not collected.
- The Actor reads public pages at a gentle pace and respects guy-hoquet.com's robots.txt.
