## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## TED Europa Tender Scraper – EU public procurement notices export

Give it one or more CPV codes (the EU's classification for what is being bought), and optionally a buyer country and a start date. You get back one row per tender notice from Tenders Electronic Daily (TED), the EU's official journal of public procurement.

Each row has the notice ID, title, notice type, buyer name, buyer country, CPV codes, publication date and a link to the official notice. Estimated value, currency and deadline are included when the buyer filled them in. Schedule it to run daily or weekly and you have a steady feed of new tenders in your sector.

### Why this one

- **No account or key needed.** It reads the public TED search API (api.ted.europa.eu v3), so there is nothing to sign up for.
- **Filter by what is being bought.** Enter CPV codes such as `72000000` for IT services and only matching notices come back.
- **Filter by buyer country.** Use ISO alpha-3 codes like `DEU` or `FRA`, or leave it empty to search all countries.
- **Links to the source.** Every row has a `url` pointing to the official notice page so you can check the details before bidding.
- **Consistent rows.** Fields the buyer left blank come back as `null`, so your filters and spreadsheets work the same on every row.
- **Cheap and bounded.** $4.30 per 1,000 results, no start fee, and runs with no results cost nothing.

### Quick start

```json
{
  "countries": ["DEU"],
  "cpvCodes": ["72000000"],
  "maxResults": 5,
  "publishedFrom": ""
}
```

This returns up to 5 recent German IT services notices. In a test run on 5 Nov 2026 it returned 5 results.

### What you can use it for

| Who | What for |
| --- | --- |
| Business development teams | Watch for new EU public tenders in your sector |
| Bid managers | Build a daily or weekly pipeline of opportunities by CPV code |
| Market analysts | Compare procurement activity by country and category |
| Consultants and resellers | Alert clients to contract notices that suit them |
| Sales and CRM teams | Add buyer organisations and deadlines to your sales tools |

### How to use it

1. Click **Try for free**.
2. In **CPV codes**, add one or more 8-digit codes, for example `72000000`. This field is required.
3. In **Buyer countries**, add ISO alpha-3 codes such as `DEU` or `FRA`. Leave it empty for all countries.
4. In **Published from (YYYYMMDD)**, enter a date such as `20261101`. Leave it empty to get the last 30 days.
5. In **Maximum results**, set a number from 1 to 1000. The default is 50.
6. Click **Start**.

To get new tenders regularly, set up a schedule from **Schedules** and run it daily or weekly.

There is no start fee. Runs with no results cost nothing.

| Run | Cost |
| --- | --- |
| 100 results | $0.43 |
| 1,000 results | $4.30 |
| 10,000 results | $43.00 |

### Good to know

- **Limit per run.** You can get up to 1,000 results in one run. It requests at most 100 notices per page and pauses between pages.
- **Data source.** Everything comes from the public TED search API run by the Publications Office of the European Union.
- **Gaps in the data.** Values, deadlines and names depend on how each buyer filled in the notice. Some fields will be `null`, and text may be in the original language.
- **Check before you bid.** Always confirm critical details on the official notice page.
- **Not affiliated.** This tool isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the European Union or the Publications Office of the European Union.

### Getting the data out

Download the results as Excel, CSV or JSON from the Output tab. Send them to Google Sheets, Slack, Zapier, Make or webhooks from the **Integrations** tab. Every run is also available through the Apify API, and you can schedule runs from **Schedules**.

### Questions or problems

Open an issue on the **Issues** tab and include the run link. I reply within one business day.
