## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Bluesky Scraper API: Posts, Profiles & Followers

Scrape **Bluesky** without an account or API key: **posts by keyword or #hashtag**, **profiles** with follower and post counts, every **post of a profile**, and their **followers and following**. You can also **search accounts** by name or bio to find creators, journalists or companies.

Straight from Bluesky's public API: fast, cheap and reliable. Pay per result.

### Why this one?

- **Everything in one Actor.** Search, profiles, user timelines, followers, following and account search, in one run.
- **Influencer finder.** Search accounts by topic and get follower counts, bios and websites, or add counts to every follower.
- **Engagement data.** Likes, reposts, replies and quotes on every post, plus hashtags, links, mentions, images and video.
- **No login, no risk.** No Bluesky account or app password needed.
- **Pay per result**, no start fee.

### Use cases

- **Brand monitoring and social listening:** what people say about your brand, product or topic on Bluesky.
- **Influencer and lead discovery:** accounts by niche with follower counts and websites.
- **Audience research:** who follows a competitor, a journalist or a community.
- **Research and journalism:** archive public posts and timelines for analysis.
- **AI and NLP:** clean post text for sentiment analysis, trends or training data.

### Good to know

- **Search returns up to 100 posts per term and run**: that's what Bluesky serves without logging in. Use several specific terms, the **Latest** order with **Posted since**, or schedule it hourly to collect everything over time. Profiles, timelines, followers and following have no such limit.
- Only public data is collected. Respect people's privacy and Bluesky's terms when you use it.

### Integrations

Schedule it and send new posts or followers to Google Sheets, Slack, Airtable, Zapier, Make, n8n or your own API.

### How to use it

1. Click **Try for free** (or **Start**) at the top of this page.
2. Fill in the input, or keep the example to see it working in seconds.
3. Click **Start** and wait for the run to finish.
4. Download the results as **Excel, CSV, JSON or HTML**, or get them through the Apify API.

### How much does it cost?

**$0.001 per result** ($1.00 per 1,000). No start fee, no monthly fee, and you only pay for the results saved to your dataset.

| Example | Cost |
|---|---|
| Followers of one account (2,000) | about $2.00 |
| Daily hashtag monitoring for a month | about $3.00 |

Apify's free plan includes monthly credit, so you can try it for free.
