## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Spain New Company Leads: BORME Scraper

Get **every new company registered in Spain**, every day, straight from the **BORME** (*Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil*), Spain's official Mercantile Registry Gazette. Also tracks appointments and dismissals of directors, address and name changes, capital increases, dissolutions, closures and insolvencies.

Data comes from the official open data API of [boe.es](https://www.boe.es/datosabiertos/), so runs are fast, cheap and reliable: no proxies, no browsers, no blocking.

### What can you use it for?

- **B2B lead generation**: reach companies in their first weeks, when they are choosing a bank, accountant, insurer, software, supplier or office.
- **Sales intelligence**: get alerts when a prospect or client changes directors, moves address or raises capital.
- **Risk and compliance (KYC/KYB)**: monitor dissolutions, insolvencies (*concurso*) and changes in the companies you work with.
- **Market research**: count new companies by province, sector keyword or capital.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Last N editions** | Read the latest N daily editions (1 = most recent working day). |
| **Start / End date** | Or read a custom date range, up to one year. |
| **Act types** | E.g. only *New company (Constitución)*, or *Dissolution*, *Insolvency declared*... |
| **Provinces** | `MADRID`, `BARCELONA`, `VALENCIA`... Leave empty for all of Spain. |
| **Keywords** | Match the company name or business purpose: `solar`, `restaurante`, `software`... |
| **Include people** | Officer and sole-shareholder names. Turn off for company-only data. |
| **Max results** | Stop after N records. |

Example: all new companies in Barcelona and Madrid in the last 5 working days whose purpose mentions software:

```json
{
  "lastEditions": 5,
  "actTypes": ["Constitución"],
  "provinces": ["MADRID", "BARCELONA"],
  "keywords": ["software", "informática"]
}
```

### Output

One record per registry entry. Download as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or fetch it through the Apify API.

```json
{
  "publicationDate": "2026-10-23",
  "province": "ALICANTE/ALACANT",
  "entryNumber": 472511,
  "companyName": "CH LOCATIONS SL",
  "legalForm": "SL",
  "acts": ["Constitución", "Declaración de unipersonalidad", "Socio único", "Nombramientos"],
  "isNewCompany": true,
  "isDissolution": false,
  "isInsolvency": false,
  "startOfOperations": "2026-03-30",
  "corporatePurpose": "La gestión, explotación y administración de viviendas destinadas al alquiler...",
  "address": "C/ NAZARIES 1 Esc.3 1 32 - ORIHUELA COSTA - LA CIÑ (ORIHUELA)",
  "city": "ORIHUELA",
  "capitalEur": 3000.0,
  "soleShareholder": "MAJENTESS",
  "appointments": [{ "role": "Adm. Unico", "name": "BERGE MARTIAL OLIVIER DANIEL" }],
  "dismissals": [],
  "registryData": "S 8 , H A 208710, I/A 1 (16.10.26)",
  "registryDate": "2026-10-16",
  "rawText": "Constitución. Comienzo de operaciones: 30.03.26. ...",
  "bormeId": "BORME-A-2026-205-03",
  "sourceUrl": "https://www.boe.es/diario_borme/txt.php?id=BORME-A-2026-205-03",
  "pdfUrl": "https://www.boe.es/borme/dias/2026/10/23/pdfs/BORME-A-2026-205-03.pdf"
}
```

`rawText` always keeps the full original entry, so nothing is lost even for rare act types.

### Daily alerts

Create a **Schedule** in Apify (e.g. every weekday at 10:00 Madrid time) with `"lastEditions": 1`, and connect the dataset to Google Sheets, Slack, Make, Zapier, n8n or your CRM via webhooks or integrations.

### Pricing

You pay only for the records you get, per result. BORME is published Monday to Friday, and Spain registers more than 100,000 new companies a year, so use the filters to get exactly the segment you need.

### Legal note

BORME is an official public gazette published by the Spanish State (Agencia Estatal BOE) and its content can be reused under the [BOE reuse conditions](https://www.boe.es/informacion/aviso_legal/index.php#reutilizacion). Records may contain names of natural persons (directors, shareholders). If you process them, you are responsible for doing so under the GDPR and Spanish data protection law (LOPDGDD), for example for legitimate B2B purposes with the right information and opt-out. Turn off **Include people** if you don't need them.
