### App Store Reviews API

Extract **recent public Apple App Store customer reviews** as structured Dataset rows for product research, sentiment analysis, release monitoring, support intelligence, and competitive analysis. The Actor uses Apple's public customer-review feed and requires no browser, proxy, account login, or API key.

This Actor is **not affiliated with Apple**. It reads public review-feed data and does not claim complete historical App Store review coverage.

#### What you get

Rows can include the stable review ID, numeric app ID, storefront country, star rating, review title, review text, application version, update timestamp, review URL, feed page, and source metadata. Reviewer nickname is **disabled by default**. Enable it only when your use case genuinely requires that public field.

#### Input

`apps` accepts numeric App Store IDs or App Store URLs. `countries` controls storefronts. `pagesPerCountry` sets the number of recent feed pages requested per app/storefront. `maxTotalReviews` provides a hard output cap. Optional `ratings`, `publishedAfter`, and `knownReviewIds` filters support targeted or incremental collection.

For incremental monitoring, save `reviewId` values from previous runs and pass them through `knownReviewIds`. This prevents already-known reviews from being emitted again.

#### Pricing

The primary Pay-per-event event is `review-result`. One event corresponds to one review successfully emitted to the Dataset. Empty feed pages, duplicate records, filtered reviews, retries, and known IDs that are suppressed are not `review-result` events. Apify manages the synthetic Actor-start event.

#### Source behavior and limitations

Apple storefront feeds can legitimately return an empty page while another page or storefront contains reviews. The production contract therefore treats deterministic HTTP-200 empty pages as valid source behavior. The Actor focuses on recent public feed coverage, not an unlimited historical archive. Review availability, storefront differences, and pagination behavior remain controlled by Apple.

#### Responsible use

Use review data for lawful analytics, research, monitoring, and product workflows. Respect applicable privacy, data-protection, copyright, and platform requirements. Do not use public reviewer information for harassment, identity resolution, sensitive profiling, or unrelated personal-data enrichment.

#### Output and integration

The output schema links to the default review Dataset plus `SUMMARY` and `REPORT` records. This supports JSON/CSV export, Apify API, MCP, agentic workflows, scheduled monitoring, webhooks, and downstream databases or analytics tools.

#### Reliability

The production candidate was validated across multiple apps, countries, and independent repeated fetches with stable review IDs and complete core-field coverage. The validation establishes the tested public-feed contract but cannot guarantee that every application has reviews in every storefront.
