## Pricing

from $0.70 / 1,000 product scrapeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Scrapes Amazon search results for any keyword: title, ASIN, current price, list price, unit price, currency, star rating, review count, Amazon's "bought in past month" figure, badges (e.g. "Overall Pick", "Amazon's Choice") and product image. Useful for product research, price monitoring and tracking competitors.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `searches` | Keywords, as you'd type them into Amazon. Each one is searched separately. |
| `marketplace` | `amazon.com` (default), `amazon.ca`, `amazon.com.mx` or `amazon.com.br`. Any other store fails the run with the list of supported stores. |
| `maxProductsPerSearch` | Default 100, maximum 1,000. Amazon itself shows about 7 pages (roughly 300 products) per search. |
| `includeSponsored` | Keep sponsored listings. Default `true`. |

```json
{
  "searches": ["espresso machine", "air fryer"],
  "marketplace": "amazon.com",
  "maxProductsPerSearch": 150
}
```

### Output

```json
{
  "search": "usb c cable",
  "position": 2,
  "asin": "B0CG1LGWR6",
  "title": "LISEN USB C to USB C Cable, 240W Fast Charging Type C Charger Cord (6.6FT)",
  "url": "https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CG1LGWR6",
  "price": 8.97,
  "listPrice": 9.99,
  "unitPrice": 4.49,
  "unitPriceUnit": "count",
  "currency": "USD",
  "priceText": "$8.97",
  "rating": 4.5,
  "reviewsCount": 12605,
  "boughtPastMonth": "10K+",
  "badge": "Limited time deal",
  "badges": ["Limited time deal"],
  "isSponsored": true,
  "image": "https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81afg0W0O8L._AC_UY218_.jpg",
  "marketplace": "amazon.com"
}
```

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `position` | Rank within your search results (sponsored results left out are not counted). |
| `price` | Current price. `null` when Amazon shows "See options" instead of a single price. |
| `listPrice` | The struck-through reference price Amazon shows ("List:", "Typical:" or "Was:"). `null` when there is none. |
| `unitPrice`, `unitPriceUnit` | Price per unit when Amazon shows one, e.g. 4.49 per "count" or per "Ounce". |
| `currency` | ISO code of the prices: USD on amazon.com, CAD on amazon.ca, MXN on amazon.com.mx, BRL on amazon.com.br. |
| `priceText` | The price exactly as Amazon displays it. |
| `reviewsCount` | Number of ratings. Exact when Amazon provides it; otherwise Amazon's rounded figure (e.g. 27.9K becomes 27900). |
| `boughtPastMonth` | Amazon's "bought in past month" figure as shown, e.g. "1K+". |
| `badge`, `badges` | The first badge, and all badges on the result. |
| `isSponsored` | True for sponsored placements. The "Sponsored Ad" prefix is removed from titles. |
| `error`, `input` | Only on error items: a search with no results, or one stopped by a robot check. Error items are not charged. |

### API usage

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/solarg~amazon-search-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_API_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"searches": ["espresso machine"], "maxProductsPerSearch": 50}'
```

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_API_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("solarg/amazon-search-scraper").call(run_input={"searches": ["air fryer"]})
items = client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).list_items().items
```

### Pricing

$1.00 per 1,000 products. Platform usage is included in the price. Error items are free. Apify plan discounts apply where Apify offers them.

### Limitations

- Search results only. It doesn't open product pages, so there are no full descriptions, variants or seller lists.
- Prices are always the store's own currency. If Amazon shows converted prices instead, the search is retried and then stopped with an error item rather than returning converted prices.
- If Amazon asks for a robot check, the run waits and retries. If that keeps happening it stops early and keeps the results collected so far, and you're only charged for those. Smaller runs spread over time work best.
- Only the four marketplaces above are supported. Other Amazon stores (for example amazon.co.uk and amazon.de) block automated search from cloud servers.

# Actor input Schema

## `searches` (type: `array`):

What you'd type into the Amazon search box. Each search is run separately.

## `marketplace` (type: `string`):

Which Amazon store to search. Prices are returned in that store's currency (USD, CAD, MXN or BRL). Other Amazon stores are not supported.

## `maxProductsPerSearch` (type: `integer`):

Up to 1,000. Amazon itself usually shows about 7 pages (roughly 300 products) per search, so very high values return fewer.

## `includeSponsored` (type: `boolean`):

Keep products marked as Sponsored (isSponsored is true on those).

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "searches": [
    "espresso machine"
  ],
  "marketplace": "amazon.com",
  "maxProductsPerSearch": 50,
  "includeSponsored": true
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `products` (type: `string`):

Products table view of the default dataset.

## `results` (type: `string`):

All scraped items in the default dataset, every field.

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "searches": [
