## Pricing

from $1.40 / 1,000 company profiles

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Gets LinkedIn company profiles from their public pages, with no login, cookies or LinkedIn account. Each company record has its LinkedIn company ID, website, industry, company size, employees on LinkedIn, followers, headquarters, all listed office locations, founding year, specialties, logo and the "similar pages" LinkedIn shows. Optionally, it also returns the recent posts shown on the company page.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `companies` | Company or showcase URLs (`https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe`), slugs (`stripe`) or plain names (`Bank of America`). |
| `includeRecentPosts` | Also return the recent posts shown on the page (usually about 10 per company). Default `false`. |

```json
{
  "companies": ["https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe", "apify", "Bank of America"],
  "includeRecentPosts": true
}
```

How inputs are read:

- **URLs** (`linkedin.com/company/...`, `linkedin.com/showcase/...`, any country subdomain) are exact. If LinkedIn has renamed the page, the record uses the new address.
- **Slugs** are lower-cased and used as they are.
- **Plain names** are turned into a best-guess slug: lower case, `&` becomes `and`, spaces become `-` (`Bank of America` becomes `bank-of-america`). Up to three variants are tried (for example with and without `Ltd`, or without hyphens). Records found this way have `slugGuessed: true`. Check them, or pass the company's LinkedIn URL for an exact match.
- **Numeric company IDs** (`linkedin.com/company/2135371`) and **school pages** (`linkedin.com/school/...`) are only shown to signed-in LinkedIn users, so they return an error item explaining this. Use the company's vanity URL instead.
- Anything that is not a LinkedIn company, showcase or school URL or a company name returns an error item. Inputs are never dropped silently.

}
```
**Post** (when `includeRecentPosts` is on)
```json
{
  "type": "post",
  "input": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe",
  "slug": "stripe",
  "company": "Stripe",
  "url": "https://www.linkedin.com/posts/stripe_...",

  "images": [],
  "hasVideo": true,

```
- `likes` is the total reaction count LinkedIn shows. `image` is the first image, or the video cover for video posts. `isRepost` is true when the post on the company page was written by someone else.
- Fields the company has not filled in on LinkedIn are `null` or empty.
**Error item** (never charged)
```

### API usage

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/solarg~linkedin-company-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_API_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"companies": ["stripe", "apify"]}'
```

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_API_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("solarg/linkedin-company-scraper").call(run_input={"companies": ["stripe"], "includeRecentPosts": True})
items = client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).list_items().items
```

### Pricing

- $2.00 per 1,000 companies
- $0.50 per 1,000 posts (only when `includeRecentPosts` is on)

Error items are free. Platform usage is included in the price.

### Limitations

- Only information LinkedIn shows to logged-out visitors. No employee lists, people profiles or private data.
- School pages and numeric company IDs need a LinkedIn login and are not supported.
- Recent posts are the ones LinkedIn shows on the public company page (about 10), not the full post history.
- Slugs guessed from plain names can match a different company with a similar name. Use LinkedIn URLs when accuracy matters.
