## Pricing

from $0.35 / 1,000 profiles

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

Bulk-checks TikTok profiles. For each username it returns exact follower, following, like and video counts, verified and business-account flags, whether the account is live, bio, bio link, avatar, interaction settings and the date the account was created. Useful for vetting influencer lists, tracking creator growth over time, and enriching lead lists.

For a quick one-off check without an Apify account, a free web version with a small daily limit is available at [purfled.com/tiktok-follower-count](https://purfled.com/tiktok-follower-count/).

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `profiles` | Usernames (`nasa`, `@nasa`), profile URLs (`https://www.tiktok.com/@nasa`), video URLs, or share links (`https://vm.tiktok.com/...`, `https://vt.tiktok.com/...`, `https://www.tiktok.com/t/...`). |

```json
{
  "profiles": ["@khaby.lame", "nasa", "https://www.tiktok.com/@duolingo", "https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMeCfQN72/"]
}
```

- Share links are resolved to the profile they point to. A share link to a video returns the video's author.
- Duplicates are checked and charged once. `@NASA`, `nasa` and `https://www.tiktok.com/@nasa` count as the same profile.
- Every input gets a row. Inputs that are not TikTok usernames or links get a row with an `error` field.

### Output

```json
{
  "input": "@nasa",
  "handle": "nasa",
  "username": "nasa",
  "nickname": "NASA",
  "url": "https://www.tiktok.com/@nasa",
  "userId": "7664638705177150477",
  "avatar": "https://p16-common-sign.tiktokcdn-eu.com/...",
  "language": "en",
  "createdAt": "2026-07-20T15:55:49.000Z",
  "followers": 2130693,
  "videos": 59,
  "friends": 17,
  "likesGiven": 0,
  "commerceCategory": null,
  "favoritesPublic": false,
}
```

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `input` | The value exactly as you entered it. |
| `handle` | The username taken from the input, or found by resolving a share link. |
| `username` | The account's current username as TikTok shows it. |
| `followers`, `following`, `likes`, `videos`, `friends` | Exact counts, not rounded like "2.1M". `likes` is likes received. |
| `likesGiven` | Number of videos the account has liked. Often 0 when the account hides it. |
| `isLive` | True when the account was live at the time of the check. |
| `isOrganization`, `isSeller`, `commerceCategory` | Business-account flags and category. |
| `favoritesPublic` | Whether the account's favourites tab is public. |
| `commentSetting`, `duetSetting`, `stitchSetting`, `downloadSetting` | TikTok's own setting codes: 0 = everyone, 1 = friends only, 3 = off. |
| `error` | Set only on rows that could not be checked. Other profile fields are absent on these rows. |

Error messages:

- `Profile not found or unavailable`: the account does not exist, was banned or is hidden.
- `TikTok did not respond. Please try again later.`: TikTok did not return the page after 4 attempts. Run the input again.
- `Not a TikTok username or profile URL`: the input could not be read as a username or TikTok link.
- `This short link has expired or does not lead to a TikTok profile or video`.

Rows with an `error` field are not charged.

Schedule a daily run on the same list to track follower growth over time.

### API usage

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/solarg~tiktok-profile-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_API_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"profiles": ["nasa", "duolingo"]}'
```

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_API_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("solarg/tiktok-profile-scraper").call(run_input={"profiles": ["nasa", "duolingo"]})
items = client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).list_items().items
```

### Pricing

$0.50 per 1,000 profiles. Platform usage is included in the price. Error rows and duplicates are not charged.

### Limitations

- Profile statistics only. This Actor does not list a profile's videos or comments.
- Only public information is returned. Private accounts show their counts but no content.
- Avatar URLs are signed by TikTok and expire after a few days. Download them promptly if you need to keep them.
- Share links that point to a live stream or to a numeric user ID cannot be matched to a username and return an error row.
