## SEC EDGAR Financials — Clean JSON API

Get **clean, structured financial data** from any US public company in one call.
Pass a stock **ticker** (`AAPL`) or **CIK**, and receive the latest revenue, net
income, total assets, stockholders' equity, EPS and more — already normalized
from the messy SEC XBRL `companyfacts` blob.

### Why this exists

SEC EDGAR data is **free and official**, but the raw `companyfacts` endpoint
returns hundreds of accounting concepts across multiple taxonomies, each with
dozens of overlapping periods. It's a nightmare to parse. This actor does the
dirty work: deduplicates, picks the most recent period (preferring annual 10-K
filings), and hands you a flat, ready-to-use JSON object.
