## Pricing

from $5.00 / 1,000 evidence packs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Page Evidence — render + proof link for AI work

Render any public URL in a real browser and get back **three things in your own Apify storage**:

| Artifact | What it is |
|---|---|
| `EVIDENCE.html` | **Self-contained proof page** — screenshot embedded as data-URI, source URL, captured-at timestamp, extracted text. Open it anywhere / forward it in chat. |
| `SCREENSHOT.png` | The raw browser capture (viewport or full-page). |
| `PAGE_TEXT.txt` | Clean extracted text (scripts/styles stripped). |

Unnamed run stores expire after **7 days** — rename the store to keep evidence longer.

### Pricing

**$0.005 per successful evidence pack** (screenshot + extracted text + `EVIDENCE.html`). Failures are not charged. Same dollar price as the MCP `render_page` tool ($0.005 USDC on x402) — this Actor bills on the Apify Store rail, not a wallet.

### Why

AI agents read the web, but humans need to *verify what the AI saw*. This Actor produces the artifact a human can check against reality — the piece most render tools skip.

### Input

| Field | Required | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| `url` | yes | — | Public `http(s)` page to capture |
| `fullPage` | no | `false` | Entire scrollable page vs viewport |
| `waitUntil` | no | `load` | Playwright event: `load`, `domcontentloaded`, `networkidle` |
| `maxWaitMs` | no | `20000` | Navigation timeout |

### Output

Dataset row: `url`, `title`, `capturedAt`, `textLength`, `artifacts`.

Key-value store: open **EVIDENCE.html** first — that file travels alone.

### Example

Input:

```json
{ "url": "https://example.com" }
```

Then open the run → **Storage → Key-value store → EVIDENCE.html**.

### Notes

- Public pages only. Login walls and bot blocks will capture whatever loaded.
- Built by [SORNKan publish](https://publish.sornkan.com).

# Actor input Schema

## `url` (type: `string`):

Public https URL to render and capture.

## `fullPage` (type: `boolean`):

Capture the entire scrollable page instead of the viewport.

## `waitUntil` (type: `string`):

Playwright navigation event to wait for.

## `maxWaitMs` (type: `integer`):

Give up navigation after this many milliseconds.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "url": "https://example.com",
  "fullPage": false,
  "waitUntil": "load",
  "maxWaitMs": 20000
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `evidence` (type: `string`):

Self-contained EVIDENCE.html with source URL, captured-at time, and embedded screenshot. Open this first.

## `screenshot` (type: `string`):

Raw PNG capture of the page (viewport or full-page).

## `pageText` (type: `string`):

Visible page text with scripts and styles stripped.

## `results` (type: `string`):

Dataset row: url, title, capturedAt, textLength, screenshot mode.

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "url": "https://example.com"
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("sornkan/page-evidence").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
