## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### Google Shopping scraper: products, every store's price & price history

Search Google Shopping with all its filters, or paste a product link and get every store that sells it. Each store row has the price, shipping, stock, store rating and a direct link to the store's own page.

**$4 per 1,000 results. No proxy or setup needed.**

Works in 13 countries: US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, India, Brazil, Mexico and Japan.

### Why this scraper?

- 🏪 **Every store, not just the first few.** Google shows 3 to 5 sellers; this pages through the full list (57 offers from 40 stores for a popular LEGO set).
- 🔗 **Direct store links**, not Google redirect links, so you land on the retailer's own product page.
- 📉 **12 months of daily prices** for the main stores, plus Google's own "typically $X to $Y" range.
- 🎯 **Filters you can trust.** Google often ignores its own filters, so every result is checked against yours before it's delivered.
- 💸 **One flat price** for products and store offers, and you're never billed for a row that breaks your filters.
- 🌍 **Local stores and currencies** in each country, read in the local language where Google needs it.

### What data can you extract?

<table>
<tr><td>🏷️ Product title</td><td>💲 Price and old price</td><td>🔻 Discount %</td><td>🏪 Store name</td></tr>
<tr><td>🔗 Direct store link</td><td>🚚 Shipping cost and delivery</td><td>📦 In stock</td><td>↩️ Returns policy</td></tr>
<tr><td>⭐ Product rating and reviews</td><td>🏅 Store rating</td><td>📉 Price history</td><td>📊 Typical price range</td></tr>
<tr><td>🆔 Google product ID</td><td>♻️ Condition (used, refurbished)</td><td>💳 Instalment plans</td><td>🖼️ Image (when Google links one)</td></tr>
</table>

### Two ways to use it

#### 🔎 Search products

Type search words and get the products Google Shopping shows, usually 140 to 300 per search, depending on what Google has.

```json
{
    "mode": "search",
    "queries": ["wireless earbuds", "robot vacuum"],
    "country": "us",
    "maxPrice": 150,
    "onSaleOnly": true,
    "sortBy": "price_low",
    "maxResultsPerQuery": 50
}
```

Tick **Also get every store's price for each product found** to get the full store list for every result in the same run.

#### 🏪 Every store's price for my products

Paste Google Shopping product links (open a product on Google Shopping and copy the address) and get one row per store.

```json
{
    "mode": "offers",
    "productUrls": [
        "https://www.google.com/search?ibp=oshop&q=lego&prds=catalogid:14589329105183715435,gpcid:5948170048921941310,pvt:hg&hl=en&gl=us&udm=28"
    ],
    "country": "us",
    "maxOffersPerProduct": 50
}
```

You can also give barcodes (EAN, UPC). Google doesn't publish barcodes, so each one is matched to the closest product by name and marked `matchType: "closest"`. Links are exact; use them when you have them.

### Filters

Price range, on sale only, free delivery only, new or used, specific stores, minimum rating, and sorting by price (low to high or high to low).

Size, colour, brand, RAM and every other category filter change with each search. Each search run saves a **FILTERS** record listing every filter Google offered, each with a ready link. Paste that link into **Filtered Google Shopping search pages** and run again.

### How much does Google Shopping Scraper cost?

You pay **$4 per 1,000 results**, and a result is one product from a search or one store's offer for a product. That's roughly 1,250 results on Apify's free plan ($5 of monthly credit), and about 7,250 results a month on the Starter plan ($29). The start fee is $0.00005 per run, so there's effectively no per-run fee.

### Output

A search result:

```json
{
    "type": "searchResult",
    "query": "wireless earbuds",
    "country": "us",
    "currency": "USD",
    "productId": "2327420681279440941",
    "productTitle": "Apple AirPods Pro 3",
    "productUrl": "https://www.google.com/search?ibp=oshop&q=Apple%20AirPods%20Pro%203&prds=catalogid:2327420681279440941,gpcid:12576798458081720929,pvt:hg&hl=en&gl=us&udm=28",
    "position": 6,
    "title": "Apple AirPods Pro 3",
    "store": "Best Buy",
    "price": 199.99,
    "priceText": "$199.99",
    "oldPrice": 250,
    "discountPercent": 20,
    "shippingPrice": 0,
    "delivery": "Free delivery by Wed",
    "freeDelivery": true,
    "returns": "15-day returns",
    "rating": 4.7,
    "reviewCount": 14000
}
```

A store offer (price history trimmed to the last 3 days):

```json
{
    "type": "offer",
    "matchType": "exact",
    "country": "us",
    "currency": "USD",
    "productId": "14589329105183715435",
    "productTitle": "Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon 75192",
    "position": 1,
    "title": "LEGO Millennium Falcon",
    "store": "LEGO.com",
    "storeUrl": "https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/millennium-falcon-75192",
    "price": 849.99,
    "shippingPrice": 0,
    "totalPrice": 849.99,
    "inStock": true,
    "delivery": "Free delivery",
    "returns": "90-day returns",
    "storeRating": 4.8,
    "typicalPriceLow": 749,
    "typicalPriceHigh": 850,
    "priceHistory": [
        { "date": "2026-10-03", "price": 849.99 },
        { "date": "2026-10-04", "price": 849.99 },
        { "date": "2026-10-05", "price": 849.99 }
    ]
}
```

Every row has the same columns, so search results and store offers fit in one spreadsheet. Fields Google doesn't show for a product are `null`, never guessed.

### Use cases

- 🛡️ **Price enforcement (MAP monitoring).** See every store selling your product and flag anyone under your minimum price.
- 🏷️ **Competitor pricing.** Track what rival stores charge for the same items, with shipping included.
- 📉 **Price history research.** Check whether a "deal" is really below the usual price before you buy stock or run a promotion.
- 🛒 **Assortment and market research.** See which products and brands Google shows for a category, and at what prices.
- 🌍 **Cross-country comparison.** Compare the same product's price and availability across 7 countries' stores.
- 🧾 **Catalog matching.** Turn barcodes into Google Shopping products and store links for your own catalog.

### Limitations

- **Store prices aren't available in the UK and EU.** Google shows comparison sites there instead of stores. Search works in all 13 countries.
- **Barcodes are approximate.** In our tests about 4 in 5 real barcodes matched the right product or product family; the rest come back as "not found", never as a random product.
- **Big store lists take time.** Each page of stores takes 10 to 15 seconds, so 50 stores take about 4 to 5 minutes and 150 take about 13.
- **Price history covers only the main stores** Google tracks for the product, usually 3 to 5.
- **Search depth is set by Google**, usually 140 to 300 products per search. Use filters or more specific searches to go further.
- **Some products sell in several colours or sizes.** Store rows can include other variants, and each row's `title` shows which one it is.

### FAQ

**Is it legal to scrape Google Shopping?**
This actor collects publicly visible prices and product listings. Check the rules that apply to how you use the data, especially for personal data, which this actor doesn't collect.

**Do I need a Google account or proxies?**
No. Paste your input and run.

**Why did a search return fewer products than I asked for?**
Either Google had no more for that search, or few products passed your filters. The run's status message says which.

**Can I run it on a schedule?**
Yes. Save your input as a task and schedule it daily or weekly to track prices over time.

# Actor input Schema

## `mode` (type: `string`):

Search products: type search words and get the product list Google Shopping shows. Every store's price: give product links (or barcodes) and get every store that sells each product, with price, shipping, stock and a direct store link.

## `queries` (type: `array`):

One search per line, written the way you would type it on Google Shopping. Used by 'Search products'.

## `productUrls` (type: `array`):

Used by 'Every store's price'. Paste the link of a product page opened from Google Shopping (it contains prds=catalogid:...), or the productUrl / productId from a search result of this scraper.

## `gtins` (type: `array`):

Used by 'Every store's price'. Google does not publish barcodes, so each barcode is matched to the closest Google Shopping product (rows say matchType: closest). Product links are exact and preferred.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

For size, colour, brand and any other filter Google offers: filter on Google Shopping in your browser, copy the address and paste it here. Every search run also saves a FILTERS record with ready links for every filter Google offered.

## `country` (type: `string`):

The Google Shopping country. It sets the stores, the prices and the currency.

## `minPrice` (type: `integer`):

In the country's currency. Leave empty for no lower limit.

## `maxPrice` (type: `integer`):

In the country's currency. Leave empty for no upper limit.

## `onSaleOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Same as Google Shopping's 'On sale' filter (and its Deals tab).

## `freeShippingOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Same as Google Shopping's 'Free shipping' filter.

## `condition` (type: `string`):

New or used/refurbished products only.

## `stores` (type: `array`):

Store names as Google shows them, e.g. Walmart, Best Buy, Target. Each store is searched separately.

## `minRating` (type: `string`):

Google ignores its own rating filter, so the scraper filters the results it fetched. Products without a rating are left out when this is set.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

'Price: low to high' is not honoured by Google, so the scraper fetches every page Google has for the search and sorts them itself.

## `maxResultsPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

Google shows up to about 150-300 products per search (4 to 8 pages), depending on the search.

## `includeOffers` (type: `boolean`):

For each search result, also list every store selling it. Adds one row per store, so it costs more.

## `maxOffersPerProduct` (type: `integer`):

Most products have 5 to 60 stores; very popular ones can have hundreds.

## `includePriceHistory` (type: `boolean`):

Adds daily prices for up to the last 12 months for the main stores Google tracks for the product (usually the first 3 to 5 stores), when Google has them.
