## Pricing

from $7.00 / 1,000 hiring company returneds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Companies Hiring Now: B2B Leads from Job Postings

Find companies that are hiring for a role right now, and turn job postings into a B2B lead list. A company hiring sales development reps may need sales tools. A company hiring its first security engineer may need security software. Companies Hiring Now shows you who, how many roles, and where.

Each result is **one company, not one job**, so you get a ready prospect list rather than thousands of postings to sort. **No personal data**: it returns companies, not people. **You pay only per company returned.**

### What you get for each hiring company

| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| `company` | Company name |
| `matchingRoles` | How many open jobs match your search, the strength of the signal |
| `totalOpenRoles` | All open jobs at the company, a rough sign of growth |
| `remoteRoles` | How many matching jobs are remote |
| `latestPostedAt` | When the newest matching job was posted |
| `sampleTitles` | Up to 8 example job titles |
| `locations`, `departments` | Up to 8 of each from the matching jobs |
| `careersUrl` | The company's careers page |
| `system` | The career site system the data came from |

### How to find companies to sell to

- **Selling to sales teams:** `hiringFor` = `sales development`, `account executive`; `minMatchingRoles` = 3.
- **Selling cloud or security tools:** `hiringFor` = `devops`, `security engineer`.
- **Companies building a team in one place:** `hiringFor` = `engineer`, `locations` = `Berlin`, `minMatchingRoles` = 5.
- **Recruiters:** find companies with many open roles for the positions you place.
- **A weekly lead list:** set a `monitorName` and schedule the Actor. Each run returns and charges only for companies it has not returned before.

### Example output

```json
{
  "company": "Stripe",
  "matchingRoles": 55,
  "totalOpenRoles": 745,
  "remoteRoles": 3,
  "latestPostedAt": "2026-10-30T14:02:00.000Z",
  "sampleTitles": ["Professional Services Account Executive"],
  "locations": ["San Francisco, CA", "Dublin"],
  "departments": ["Sales"],
  "careersUrl": "https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe",
  "system": "greenhouse"
}
```

### What this data can and cannot tell you

- It covers companies on Greenhouse, Ashby, SmartRecruiters and Lever, the systems our own job index reads, from their public career endpoints. That favours technology and growth companies. Employers on other systems do not appear, so this is not every company that is hiring.
- Listings are refreshed about once a day.
- There are no contact details and no company website field. Use the company name or careers page to research further.
- Company names come from each career site, and some are shortened forms of the board's name.
- `totalOpenRoles` may be capped by the source for very large employers.
- Recruitment and staffing firms are filtered by name, which is good but not perfect.

### Pricing

Pay per event: **$0.01 per company returned** ($10 per 1,000 companies), with 10-30% off on paid Apify plans, plus a tiny start fee of $0.00005. `maxCompanies` caps your cost; the default of 25 costs about $0.25. Apify's free monthly credit covers a first test.

### Questions

Found a wrong company or a bad match? Open an issue on the Issues tab and it will be looked at. Follow the anti-spam laws that apply where you do outreach.

# Actor input Schema

## `hiringFor` (type: `array`):

Find companies with open jobs whose title contains any of these. A company hiring SDRs may need sales tools; one hiring DevOps engineers may need infrastructure. Empty means any role.

## `excludeRoles` (type: `array`):

Ignore jobs whose title contains any of these, such as intern.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Count only jobs whose location contains any of these, such as Germany, London or NY. Empty means all.

## `departments` (type: `array`):

Count only jobs in a department containing any of these. Not every employer publishes one.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Count only jobs marked remote.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Count only jobs posted in the last so many days, 1 to 365.

## `minMatchingRoles` (type: `integer`):

Only companies with at least this many matching open jobs. Raise it to find companies building a team.

## `includeStaffingFirms` (type: `boolean`):

Off by default, because agencies hire for their clients.

## `maxCompanies` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many companies. You pay per company, so this also caps the cost.

## `monitorName` (type: `string`):

Give your schedule a name, and each run returns and charges only for companies it has not returned before.
