## Pricing

from $0.07 / 1,000 review returneds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Google Play Reviews Scraper: By Country, Rating, Date & Keyword

Collect the reviews of any Android app on Google Play in one table: star rating, review text, date, how many people found it helpful, the app version it was written for, and the developer's reply.

Choose countries and the review language, sort by newest, most relevant or rating, and filter by stars, date and keywords. Unlike the App Store (which only shows 500 recent reviews), Google Play lets you go back through thousands of reviews per app.

**You pay only for reviews returned**, after your filters. Apps that are not found cost nothing.

### What you get for each review

| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| `rating` | 1 to 5 stars |
| `text` | The review text |
| `date` | When it was written (UTC) |
| `thumbsUp` | How many people marked it helpful |
| `appVersion` | The app version the reviewer had |
| `replyText`, `replyDate` | The developer's public reply, if any |
| `userName`, `reviewId`, `url` | Reviewer's display name, review id and a link |
| `appId`, `appName`, `appAverageRating` | The app |
| `country`, `language` | Which store and language were searched |

### Input

```json
{
  "apps": ["https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spotify.music", "com.whatsapp"],
  "countries": ["us", "gb"],
  "language": "en",
  "sort": "newest",
  "maxReviewsPerApp": 1000,
  "minRating": 1,
  "maxRating": 2,
  "postedWithinDays": 30,
  "keywords": ["crash", "login"]
}
```

### Typical uses

- **Product teams:** find what breaks in each release. Filter 1 to 2 stars and group by `appVersion`.
- **Competitor research:** compare what users praise and hate across rival apps and countries.
- **Support and ASO:** track unanswered complaints (`replyText` empty) and common keywords.
- **AI analysis:** feed reviews into sentiment, topic or summary models.

Use it together with **App Store Reviews by Country** (same publisher) to cover iPhone and Android in the same format.

### Pricing

$0.10 per 1,000 reviews ($0.0001 each).

1,000 reviews of one app cost $0.10. A daily run collecting about 50 new reviews costs roughly $0.15 a month.

Each run also has Apify's standard start charge of $0.00005. Apify's paid plans get 10% to 30% off; the Pricing tab shows yours.

### Limits

- Only public reviews are available; Google does not show reviewers' emails or full profiles.
- The keyword filter looks at the review text.
- Very large pulls (tens of thousands of reviews) take several minutes.

### Questions

#### Can I run it on a schedule?

Yes. Save your input as a task and add an Apify schedule, for example daily with "Posted within the last 1 day".

#### How do I get the results into Excel or Google Sheets?

Download any run's results as Excel, CSV or JSON from the Output tab, or connect Apify to Make, Zapier, n8n or Google Sheets.

#### Something looks wrong

Open a report under the Issues tab with the input you used.
