## Pricing

from $0.35 / 1,000 post returneds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Telegram Channel Scraper: Posts, Views, Reactions & Subscribers

Get the posts of any public Telegram channel as a clean table, with **no phone number, no bot token and no Telegram login**:

- **Post text** with line breaks and emoji, plus links, hashtags and @mentions found in it
- **Date**, post link and whether the post was edited
- **Views** and **reactions** (each emoji with its count, plus paid Star reactions)
- **Media**: photo URLs, and whether the post has a video, file or poll
- **Forwarded from** (when the post was forwarded from another chat)
- **Channel details** on every row: title and subscriber count

Filter by date range and keywords. You pay only for posts returned.

### Output

One item per post:

```json
{
  "channel": "durov",
  "postId": 548,
  "url": "https://t.me/durov/548",
  "date": "2026-09-11T16:04:02.000Z",
  "edited": false,
  "author": "Pavel Durov",
  "text": "Telegram has become the sponsor of Codeforces ...",
  "views": 3380000,
  "reactions": [{ "type": "stars", "emoji": null, "customEmojiId": null, "count": 21900 }, { "type": "emoji", "emoji": "👍", "customEmojiId": null, "count": 9920 }],
  "forwardedFrom": null,
  "photos": [],
  "hasVideo": false,
  "hasDocument": false,
  "hasPoll": false,
  "linkPreview": "https://codeforces.com/blog/entry/156620",
  "links": ["https://codeforces.com/blog/entry/156620"],
  "hashtags": [],
  "mentions": [],
  "channelTitle": "Pavel Durov",
  "channelSubscribers": 10300000
}
```

Channel details (title, verified badge, subscribers, photo, video and link counts, description) are also saved once per channel in the run's `CHANNELS` record.

### Input

```json
{
  "channels": ["durov", "https://t.me/telegram"],
  "maxPostsPerChannel": 500,
  "dateFrom": "2026-09-01",
  "keywords": ["update", "launch"]
}
```

### Typical uses

- **Market and crypto research:** collect announcements and engagement from project and news channels.
- **Brand and competitor monitoring:** track what channels in your niche post and which posts get the most views.
- **Media and OSINT research:** archive public channel posts with dates and links.
- **AI and data pipelines:** feed fresh posts into summaries, alerts or sentiment models on a schedule.

### Pricing

$0.50 per 1,000 posts ($0.0005 per post). No extra start fee beyond Apify's standard $0.00005.

1,000 posts cost $0.50. Apify's paid plans get a discount; the Pricing tab shows yours. Channels without a public page cost nothing.

### Good to know

- This tool reads Telegram's public web preview (t.me/s/channel), the same page anyone can open in a browser. It works for **public channels** only, not private channels, groups or chats.
- Some channels turn their web preview off. Those are listed in the run's `UNAVAILABLE_CHANNELS` record and are not charged.
- Telegram shows rounded numbers on the public page (for example 1.02M views), so views and reactions are rounded the same way.
- Reactions with Telegram's custom emoji have no standard character; they are returned with their `customEmojiId`.
- Comments are not on the public page and are not included.

### Questions

#### Can I run it on a schedule?

Yes. Save your input as a task, set `dateFrom` or a small `maxPostsPerChannel`, and add an Apify schedule, for example daily.

#### How do I get the results into Excel or Google Sheets?

Download the results as Excel, CSV or JSON from the Output tab, or connect Apify to Make, Zapier, n8n or Google Sheets.

#### Something looks wrong

Open a report under the Issues tab with the channel and input you used.

# Actor input Schema

## `channels` (type: `array`):

Public channel usernames or links, for example durov, @durov or https://t.me/durov. Private invite links (t.me/+...) have no public page and are skipped.

## `maxPostsPerChannel` (type: `integer`):

Newest posts first. Telegram's public page goes back to the channel's first post.

## `dateFrom` (type: `string`):

Only posts on or after this date (YYYY-MM-DD). Scraping stops at the first older post, so a date range is also the fastest way to limit a run.

## `dateTo` (type: `string`):

Only posts on or before this date (YYYY-MM-DD).

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only posts whose text contains at least one of these words (not case sensitive). Leave empty for all posts. You pay only for posts returned.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "channels": [
    "durov",
    "telegram"
  ],
  "maxPostsPerChannel": 100
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `posts` (type: `string`):

One item per post: text, date, views, reactions, links, media and the channel's subscriber count.
