## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Enterprise Career Site Jobs Scraper

**For:** sales teams tracking hiring at large enterprise accounts, job boards that need direct employer listings, job seekers watching big employers, and labour-market researchers.

**What it does:** many large employers host their careers site on Workday (`*.myworkdayjobs.com`). Paste one URL per employer, as many employers as you like, and get every open job as a table or through the API. It works with myworkdayjobs.com career sites and is not affiliated with Workday, Inc.

### How to use

1. Open the employer's careers page and go through to job search. Copy the URL if it contains `myworkdayjobs.com`. Filters you set in the browser carry over through the URL.
2. Paste the URLs into **Career sites**.
3. Optional: `searchText`, `titleKeywords`, `excludeKeywords`, `locationKeywords`, `postedWithinDays` (max 30), `maxJobsPerSite` (1 to 2,000; empty = 2,000; 0 is rejected; paging stops once that many matching jobs are found), `includeDescription` (default on). Up to 100 career sites per run, each URL at most 500 characters and starting with https://.
4. Run, then export as CSV, Excel or JSON.

```json
{
  "careerSites": ["https://example.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/ExampleCareers"],
  "titleKeywords": ["engineer"],
  "postedWithinDays": 7,
  "maxJobsPerSite": 100
}
```

### Tested career sites

These sites returned jobs with descriptions in a local test on 14 Oct 2026. Career sites change, so this is not a guarantee.

- `https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite`
- `https://salesforce.wd12.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/External_Career_Site`
- `https://intel.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/External`
- `https://adobe.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/external_experienced`
- `https://mastercard.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/CorporateCareers`

### Example output (illustrative values)

```json
{
  "id": "JR0000001",
  "ats": "workday",
  "company": "example",
  "title": "Senior Software Engineer",
  "department": null,
  "location": "Example City, Country",
  "locations": ["Example City, Country", "Second City, Country"],
  "country": "Country",
  "remote": null,
  "employmentType": "Full time",
  "postedAt": "2026-10-05",
  "postedText": "Posted 3 Days Ago",
  "url": "https://example.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/ExampleCareers/job/Example-City/Senior-Software-Engineer_JR0000001",
  "applyUrl": "https://example.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/ExampleCareers/job/Example-City/Senior-Software-Engineer_JR0000001/apply",
  "descriptionText": "Example description...",
  "descriptionHtml": "<p>Example description...</p>",
  "sourceInput": "https://example.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/ExampleCareers"
}
```

`company` is the site's tenant name, not a formatted company name. `department` is always `null`. With `includeDescription` off, the description, country and job type are `null`, and `postedAt` is estimated from `postedText`. A `SUMMARY` record lists each site's status and found/returned counts.

### Limits

- At most 2,000 jobs per search (a Workday paging limit). Split large employers with country or search filters.
- `postedWithinDays` max is 30.
- Only myworkdayjobs.com sites. For Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and others, use our Company Career Page Jobs API.
- A full site with descriptions can take several minutes.
- Only `https://<company>.wd<N>.myworkdayjobs.com` hosts are called and redirects are not followed, so vanity careers domains must be replaced by the myworkdayjobs.com URL they lead to.
- The run stops when your spending limit is reached.

### Pricing (current; unchanged)

**US$0.0005 per job returned** (US$0.50 per 1,000) plus a start fee of **US$0.00005 per GB of run memory** (a default 4 GB run costs US$0.0002) (MANIFEST.md; README; T-097). Jobs removed by filters are free. The existing README examples still apply: 30 companies daily with about 20 new jobs a day comes to about $0.30 a month, and a 10,000-job pull costs $5.

### FAQ

- **Login or proxy?** No.
- **Multiple employers?** Yes, one URL per employer in a single run.
- **Personal data?** No recruiter or hiring-manager fields are returned, and email addresses and phone numbers in descriptions are replaced with `[redacted]` (pattern-based, so unusual formats may slip through). Handle the data lawfully.

### Not affiliated

Workday and myworkdayjobs are trademarks of Workday, Inc. This Actor is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Workday, Inc. or the employers whose sites it reads.

# Actor input Schema

## `careerSites` (type: `array`):

One URL per company, for example https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite. Tip: apply filters on the career site in your browser, then paste the URL from the address bar and the same filters are used here. Must start with https:// (http:// is rejected). Up to 100 career site URLs per run, each at most 500 characters.

## `searchText` (type: `string`):

Optional keyword search run by Workday itself, the same as typing into the search box on the career site.

## `titleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose title contains at least one of these words. Not case sensitive.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words, for example: intern, senior.

## `locationKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose listed location contains at least one of these, for example: London, Germany, Remote.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep only jobs posted in the last N days (up to 30). Ideal for daily or weekly scheduled runs.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Open each job to get the full description, exact posting date, every location and the job type. Turn off for a faster listing with title, location and link only.

## `maxJobsPerSite` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many matching jobs for each career site (1 to 2,000; Workday serves at most 2,000 per search). Leave empty for 2,000. 0 is not allowed. Paging stops as soon as this many matching jobs are found.
