## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## NBA & NFL Player Props Odds: Pinnacle Lines & No-Vig Fair Odds

> 💰 **$3 per 1,000 props** — line, both prices, fair probability and limit in one row. Press **Start**: the prefilled input returns every **NBA** player prop of the next 48 hours in a few seconds.

**Player props from Pinnacle**, the sharpest bookmaker in the world — for **NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, college football (NCAAF), college basketball and WNBA**. For every prop: the **player**, the **stat** (points, rebounds, assists, threes, PRA, passing / rushing / receiving yards, receptions, touchdowns, shots on goal…), the **line**, the **over and under prices** (American and decimal), the **no-vig fair probability** of each side, Pinnacle's **margin** and its **maximum stake**. Clean JSON, CSV or Excel — no proxy, no account.

### Why Pinnacle's props

DFS pick'em apps (**PrizePicks, Underdog, Sleeper, Betr**) and US sportsbooks set their player lines by following the sharp market. Pinnacle *is* the sharp market: low margins, high limits, professional money. Its **no-vig fair probability** is the number pick'em players use to find **+EV picks**:

- *For example*: a pick'em app offers a player **over 24.5 points** and Pinnacle's fair probability of over 24.5 is **58%** → a strong leg (a 5- or 6-pick flex needs about 54–55% per leg to break even).
- *For example*: your sportsbook offers **+110** on an under that Pinnacle prices at a **52% fair probability** → value (+110 needs only 47.6%).

### What you get for each prop

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `player`, `stat` | `Naji Marshall`, `Points` |
| `line` | `16.5` |
| `overAmerican` / `underAmerican` | `+104` / `-138` |
| `overOdds` / `underOdds` (decimal) | `2.04` / `1.725` |
| `overFairProb` / `underFairProb` | `0.4582` / `0.5418` |
| `marginPct` | `6.99` |
| `maxStake` | `250` — how much Pinnacle lets you bet; a higher limit means a more confident line |
| `league`, `startTime`, `homeTeam`, `awayTeam` | `NBA`, `2026-10-25T00:10:00Z`, `Dallas Mavericks`, `San Antonio Spurs` |
| `propId`, `gameId`, `description`, `scrapedAt` | Pinnacle's IDs, its own wording, when the prices were read |

Coverage on a normal day (24 October 2026): **NBA ~230 props** (8 games), **NFL ~600** (a weekend slate), **NCAAF ~320**, **NHL ~690**, **MLB** in the play-offs.

### Example input

```json
{
  "leagues": ["nba", "nfl"],
  "stats": ["Points", "Receiving Yards"],
  "hoursAhead": 24
}
```

Only one player: `"players": ["Jokic"]`. Every league of a sport: `"leagues": ["basketball"]`.

### How people use it

- **+EV pick'em**: compare PrizePicks / Underdog lines with Pinnacle's fair probability, keep the legs above break-even
- **Line shopping**: a sportsbook price above Pinnacle's fair probability is a value bet
- **Closing lines**: schedule it an hour before tip-off and keep Pinnacle's last line for every player — measure your closing line value
- **Models**: the sharp market's view of every player's points, yards or shots, as a feature or a benchmark

### Pricing

**$3 per 1,000 props** (pay per event: one prop = one row). No proxy and no separate platform usage to pay for. A full NBA night (~250 props) costs about $0.75.

### Notes

- Pre-game prices only: started games are left out. Pinnacle lists props about a day before the game, more as tip-off approaches — run it again closer to the start for more players.
- Game lines (moneyline, spread, total) of the same games: [Pinnacle Odds Scraper](https://apify.com/sports-odds-lab/pinnacle-odds). Box scores to grade props: [ESPN Scraper](https://apify.com/sports-odds-lab/espn-scraper).
- Data from Pinnacle's public website feed; not affiliated with Pinnacle, PrizePicks or Underdog. Odds change all the time — `scrapedAt` says when they were read.
