# Stockist Store & Dealer Locator Scraper (`springlike_meadowland/store-dealer-locator-scraper`) Actor

Export public Stockist store and dealer locators from brand pages into clean location rows with addresses, coordinates, contacts and source links. Set a per-site cap and review coverage in the run summary.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Stockist Store & Dealer Locator Scraper

Turn public brand locator pages into structured store and dealer lists. Supply pages that embed a Stockist locator, and get one row per published location with its name, address, coordinates and available contact details. Use the dataset to map retail distribution, compare dealer networks or update a location directory.

### Quick start

```json
{
  "locatorPageUrls": [
    "https://www.littleenglish.com/pages/store-locator-1",
    "https://www.seventyone-percent.com/pages/points-de-vente"
  ],
  "maxLocationsPerSite": 10
}
```

Each input must be a public HTTPS page containing a Stockist widget. The Actor discovers the widget on that page and reads the location list it publishes anonymously. It supports 1–10 pages per run and saves up to 5,000 locations per page. The default of 10 provides a small sample. It does not search for locator pages, access private locators, or scrape other locator platforms.

### Output

One dataset row represents one location. For example, a Little English record:

```json
{
  "id": "80954144",
  "brand": "Little English",
  "name": "A Mano",
  "address": "1677 Wisconsin Ave NW",
  "city": "Wasington",
  "region": "DC",
  "postal_code": "20007",
  "country": "United States",
  "latitude": 38.91246375,
  "longitude": -77.06571263,
  "phone": null,
  "website": null,
  "hours_if_explicit": null,
  "services": [],
  "source_url": "https://www.littleenglish.com/pages/store-locator-1"
}
```

Values reflect the brand's published data, including its spelling. Missing fields are `null`; services are empty when none are listed. Hours appear only when the public location data explicitly labels them as hours. The Actor does not infer whether a store is open, closed or still carries the brand.

The `OUTPUT` key-value record reports fetched, saved and skipped counts for each page, plus errors and any location or spending limit. Duplicate Stockist IDs within a page are skipped. When a page is inaccessible or does not contain one identifiable Stockist widget, its error appears in `OUTPUT` and other supplied pages can still be processed. Large or capped runs may return a partial list.

### Billing and limits

The price is **$1 per 1,000 saved location rows**, metered per individual row, plus **$0.00005 per run start** at up to 1 GiB memory. You do not need to buy 1,000 rows. Only rows successfully saved to the dataset count; missing pages, errors and the run summary are not location rows. Check the live pricing panel before running. The start charge can apply even when no locations are saved.

Public pages can change or restrict access. A response over 8 MiB, an unsafe URL or redirect, or an expired run time budget stops that page. This Actor reads the public whole-list feed used by supported Stockist widgets; it does not enumerate geography or call a private API.

# Actor input Schema

## `locatorPageUrls` (type: `array`):

One to ten public HTTPS brand pages that embed a Stockist locator. Supply the locator page itself, such as a store-locator or stockists page.

## `maxLocationsPerSite` (type: `integer`):

Save up to this many locations from each Stockist locator. The default of 10 gives a small sample; increase for larger exports.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "locatorPageUrls": [
    "https://www.littleenglish.com/pages/store-locator-1"
  ],
  "maxLocationsPerSite": 10
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

No description

## `summary` (type: `string`):

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "locatorPageUrls": [
        "https://www.littleenglish.com/pages/store-locator-1"
    ]
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("springlike_meadowland/store-dealer-locator-scraper").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
