## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## WooCommerce Products Scraper

Collect public WooCommerce product catalogs into one clean row per parent product. Give the Actor a store homepage, get names, product links, descriptions, categories, images, prices, stock signals and public variation details in a downloadable dataset.

### Quick start

```json
{"storeUrls":["https://can-bar.pl/"],"maxProductsPerStore":2}
```

See `examples/can-bar-product.json` for a product row from this shop. Its raw price `"5489"` and `currency_minor_unit` `2` represent 54.89 PLN. Live catalog values can change as the shop updates its products.

### What it collects

Each dataset row is one public parent product from `GET /wp-json/wc/store/v1/products`. It includes product ID, store URL, name, slug, permalink, HTML description, type, categories, image URLs, raw minor-unit price, decimal price, currency, stock/purchasability fields and attributes. For variable products, the Actor requests the public `type=variation&parent=ID` Store API route and includes up to 20 visible variations with ID, option description, link, price and stock. `public_variations_complete` is `false` when more may exist or that request fails; the Actor never claims complete private variation data. A `null` value means a non-variable parent was not queried for variations.

Supports supplied public HTTPS WooCommerce shops that expose the Store API without authentication. It does not use private WooCommerce REST consumer keys, logins, browser rendering or paid data providers. Shops that disable the public endpoint, return HTML challenges, or block requests cannot be collected. Drafts and other unpublished products are absent from the public Store API. Password-protected descriptions may be empty by WooCommerce design.

`storeUrls` accepts 1–10 shop origins. `maxProductsPerStore` defaults to 10 and accepts 1–5000. `categoryIds` optionally filters by source-specific integer IDs. The Actor requests pages of up to 20 products and deduplicates IDs. Check the `OUTPUT` key-value record for each store's fetched, saved, skipped and error counts, source total when returned, and limit reason. Request count and unprocessed stores are also reported. An empty public catalog produces zero paid product rows. Error and summary objects are not dataset rows.

The billing unit is one **saved parent-product row**, including any public variation details in that row. See the Store pricing panel for the current rate. Rows saved before an error remain in the dataset; inspect `OUTPUT` for partial coverage. The run may also stop at product, page, request, time or spending limits.

The Actor reads public product data over HTTPS and sends no store credentials.

# Actor input Schema

## `storeUrls` (type: `array`):

1–10 HTTPS store origins with a public WooCommerce Store API. Example: https://can-bar.pl/. No login or API keys.

## `maxProductsPerStore` (type: `integer`):

Start with 10. Larger catalogs may stop early at the request, time or spending limit; inspect OUTPUT for coverage.

## `categoryIds` (type: `array`):

Filter each store by its own WooCommerce category IDs. IDs differ across stores; omit for all public products.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "storeUrls": [
    "https://can-bar.pl/"
  ],
  "maxProductsPerStore": 10
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

No description

## `summary` (type: `string`):

No description

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "storeUrls": [
        "https://can-bar.pl/"
    ]
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("springlike_meadowland/woocommerce-products-scraper").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
