## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## App Store Reviews Scraper — all 175 countries, incremental

Get **Apple App Store reviews for any iOS app from every country at once**, as clean JSON or CSV. Track your own app, monitor competitors, or mine 1-star reviews for product ideas.

### Why this Actor

- **All 175 storefronts in one run.** Most review scrapers check one country at a time. Turn on *All countries* and get every review Apple exposes — countries with no reviews cost nothing.
- **Incremental mode.** Set *Only reviews since* and schedule the Actor daily or weekly to receive only new reviews.
- **Filter by stars.** Ask for `[1, 2]` to get only negative reviews.
- **Fast and reliable.** Uses Apple's official customer-review feeds and the iTunes Lookup API — no proxies, no browser, no CAPTCHAs. All countries for one app usually finish in under 10 seconds.
- **No duplicates.** Reviews that shift between feed pages while you scrape are de-duplicated.

### Input examples

Every review of one app, worldwide:

```json
{ "apps": ["389801252"], "allCountries": true }
```

New 1–2 star reviews of three competitors since last Monday (schedule weekly):

```json
{ "apps": ["id1054807221", "id284882215", "id310633997"], "allCountries": true, "ratings": [1, 2], "sinceDate": "2026-09-28" }
```

### Use it from AI agents

This Actor works through the Apify MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT and other agents can call it directly: *"Summarise this week's negative App Store reviews for my app in all countries."*

### Limits

Apple's feeds expose the **most recent 500 reviews per country** (10 pages of 50). Reviews without text (star-only ratings) are not included in Apple's feeds. This Actor is not affiliated with Apple.

### Pricing

Free to use — you only pay Apify's standard platform usage, which is tiny because this Actor calls official APIs directly (no browser, no proxies).
