## Changelog

### 1.0.6 — 2026-11-02

- When Google Lens sends back no answer at all for an image, that image now gets a try_again row with nothing charged, instead of being charged as a search with no match, and a re-run fixes it. A search where Lens finds nothing is still charged, as before.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-11-02

- A spending cap that exactly fits your images now searches every image it can pay for, where before one image could be left out with a note saying your maximum cost per run was reached. Prices are unchanged.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-11-02

- The run's status message now says what to do for each image that was not searched: re-run it, send a direct link to the picture file or a smaller copy, fix the link or the field it names, or raise your cost limit or time limit.
- The input description now opens with the smallest input that works, the price per image search on every Apify plan and what to do for each row status. Searches, results and prices are unchanged.

### 1.0.3

- A request to the Standby endpoint that finishes just as the endpoint goes idle is now fully recorded on our side. Results, charges and prices are unchanged.

### 1.0.2

- **Search type** now reads Google Lens's own words: `search`, `similar`, `products`, `shopping`, `all`, `image`, `reverse image` or `lens` run a visual search; `exact match`, `same image`, `identical`, `find image source` or `source` run an exact search. Capitals, spaces, underscores and hyphens do not matter. The first row of the run says which word was read as which mode, and nothing is charged for that row.
- Lens's `text`, `translate`, `about this image` and `homework` modes are not image searches, so they are refused on each image's row, saying so, and nothing is charged. Any other value is refused as before, and its row now lists every word the field takes.
- Charges are unchanged: one image search fee per searched image, whichever word picked the mode.

### 1.0.1

- First release: paste links to pictures and get Google Lens's answer for each one as flat rows — every visual match with its page, title, site, original picture and size, the pages about the picture and its short videos.
- Exact mode: every page carrying your exact picture (up to about 400), each with the size it is shown at.
- Priced per image searched, the same fee whatever number of results it returns; an image with no match is one search, said plainly on its row.
- Every link is checked first, with nothing charged: a web page, a dead link or a picture over 7 MB is refused before any search and never charged.
- A picture Google Lens cannot open from its own address is searched again from a private copy in your run's storage, deleted after the search, at no extra fee.
- Results you already received for the same image are marked `seenBefore`, or left out with "Only results I have not received".
- Available as a Standby endpoint: one image per request, the same rows and price.
