## Changelog

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-22

- README: the "Unofficial. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc." line every Instagram listing carries. No code change; charges identical.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-22

- **First release.** Type search phrases or hashtags and get the Instagram accounts behind them: handle, name, profile link, verified and private flags, and the keyword or hashtag that found each one.
- **Read each account in full (opt-in).** Switch on "Read each account in full" and every new account also gets its followers, following and post counts, business and creator flags, category, bio, website and links, and the public email, phone and city a business shows on its own profile. Nothing is guessed: a contact field is exactly what the account published, and empty when it published none.
- Charged per event: `account` $0.003 per new account delivered; `enriched-account` $0.006 on the Apify free plan, $0.0055 on Bronze, $0.0023 from Silver, only when the full read came back; `check` $0.004 once per term, only when a repeat search found nothing new for you. No start fee. A search that finds nothing, a read that did not go through, and every limit you set ship as uncharged rows with a reason, and the run still succeeds.
- Account memory: accounts already delivered to you under the same search in the last 90 days are skipped and not charged, so a scheduled re-run pays only for new accounts. Switch off "New accounts only" to have them handed back, marked `repeat: true`, with no result fee.
- Also callable as an API endpoint (Standby): the same fields by GET or POST, the accounts in the response, charged per account at the same prices as a run. The endpoint keeps no account memory.
- A list of handles is not this actor's input: it is refused on an uncharged row pointing to the Instagram Bio Scraper, which reads accounts you already know.
