## Changelog

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-23

- **First release.** Paste an Instagram sound's page link (or its number) and get the sound itself — title, artist or owner, song or original audio, its length, and how many reels Instagram counts on it — followed by the reels that use it: caption, author, posted time, plays, likes, comments and duration. Songs from Instagram's music library and "Original audio" both work.
- **Transcripts (opt-in).** Switch on "Include transcripts" and every reel also carries what the creator says over the sound, with its language and timestamped segments. Reels up to 180 seconds are transcribed. A reel with no speech, no audio, a link that expired, a longer one, or one whose video is too large to fetch at its length is delivered with an honest empty transcript and is not charged one.
- Charged per event: `sound` $0.004 once per sound read in a run, its own row; `reel` $0.0015 per new reel on the Apify free plan, $0.0012 on Bronze, $0.0009 on Silver and $0.0006 from Gold; `reel-transcript` $0.006 per transcript actually produced. No start fee. A sound that could not be read, a reel that could not be delivered and every limit you set ship as uncharged rows with a reason, and the run still succeeds.
- Reel memory: reels already delivered to you in the last 90 days are skipped and not charged, so a scheduled re-run of the same sound pays for its new reels and the sound's own row. Switch off "New reels only" to have them handed back, marked `repeat: true`, with no result fee.
- Also callable as an API endpoint (Standby): the same fields by GET or POST, the sound rows and reels in the response, charged at the same prices as a run. The endpoint keeps no reel memory.
- A reel link, a profile link or a song name is not this actor's input: it is refused on an uncharged row that says how to open a sound's page.
