## Pricing

Pay per event

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Mudah.my Malaysia Listings Scraper

Mudah.my Malaysia Listings Scraper gives Malaysian vehicle, property and classifieds researchers structured results from public pages. Start with a category or listing URL, or a search keyword and export title, asking price, category, location and published attributes.

### What you can do

- Compare asking prices and locations across Malaysian car, property and other classifieds.
- Use vehicle fields such as year and mileage or property fields such as room count when the ad publishes them.
- Apply price bounds to focus the delivered dataset on the range relevant to your research.

### Who uses it

- A used-car dealer can compare prices, year and mileage across cars in a chosen region.
- A property researcher can review apartment listings by location and published room count, then inspect detailed specifications.

### Result preview

**Illustrative only:** invented examples show the shape of the data; they are not real results. A dash indicates an unavailable value.

| Title | Price | Region | Category | Year |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Example car | 45,000 MYR | Example region | Cars | 2020 |
| Example apartment | 350,000 MYR | Example region | Property | — |
| Example car | 38,000 MYR | Example city | Cars | 2018 |

Fields may be absent when the source does not publish them.

### Why choose this Actor

- Category URLs and keywords support discovery, while individual listing URLs can target a known ad.
- Detail mode adds specifications and available dealer or store information. Price-filtered results do not incur a listing event charge.

### Pricing

Prices in **USD**, verified on 4 November 2026. Check the current Pricing tab before running.

| Result type | Event price |
| --- | ---: |
| List listing | $1.245 per 1,000 results |
| Listing with details | $1.245 per 1,000 results |

The detail event replaces the list event for the same result; the two are not added together. For example, 1,000 results at the list listing rate incur $1.245 in result-event charges. This calculation covers Actor event charges. Review Pricing for any separately listed platform usage; later access to stored data follows Apify's applicable storage pricing.

### Try it in three steps

1. Enter a category or listing URL, or a search keyword. Set a small result limit for your first run.
2. Turn on **Open each listing page (detail tier)** for specifications and available dealer information, or leave it off for list results. Run the Actor.
3. Inspect the dataset and export the results in your preferred available format.

### Coverage and FAQ

**What are the limits?** The item cap applies per input URL or keyword, not globally. Contact details and category-specific attributes are not guaranteed.

The requested result limit defaults to 50 and can be set up to 20,000 per URL or keyword.

**Is this a live feed?** Each run is a snapshot of available source information. Listings, prices and other details may change after collection; a requested maximum is a ceiling, not a promise of that many results.

**Can I use the data for ongoing analysis?** Yes, export it to your own workflow. Scheduling repeated runs or acting on the exported results requires your own workflow.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Mudah list URLs such as https://www.mudah.my/malaysia/cars-for-sale or a state/category page. A listing URL ending in .htm is fetched as a detail page. Empty input uses Malaysia cars for sale.

## `queries` (type: `array`):

Each keyword is searched as https://www.mudah.my/malaysia/all?q=<keyword>.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Cap per start URL and per keyword. List pages carry about 45 ads.

## `maxPages` (type: `integer`):

Optional. Stops a seed after this many list pages.

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Adds specs, dealer phone when the ad is a company ad, store profile and the loan-calculator figures. Charged as listing-detail instead of listing.

## `minPrice` (type: `integer`):

Optional. Listings below this price are skipped and not charged.

## `maxPrice` (type: `integer`):

Optional. Listings above this price are skipped and not charged.

## `requestIntervalMs` (type: `integer`):

At least 1 second between request starts, including when several requests are in flight.

## `concurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many detail pages may be open at once. Capped at 3.

## `maxRunSeconds` (type: `integer`):

Stops cleanly and writes the OUTPUT record before this limit.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Direct connection by default. Optional Apify Proxy. Residential traffic is capped by residentialMaxMb.

## `useProxyFallback` (type: `boolean`):

When a proxy is configured, stay on a direct connection until repeated HTTP 403 or 429 responses, then switch to that proxy.

## `residentialMaxMb` (type: `integer`):

Hard cap on bytes downloaded through a residential proxy group. The run stops with stopReason proxy-budget when the cap is crossed.

# Actor output Schema

## `listings` (type: `string`):

One record per Mudah.my ad in the default dataset, plus an uncharged run-notice row when the run stops early. Detail-tier fields depend on the input and on what the public ad page publishes.

## `summary` (type: `string`):

Run counters, seed results, errors, HTTP statistics, unavailable-field notes, and the stop reason written to the OUTPUT key at the end of a run or an early input failure.
