## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Allabolag Swedish Company Scraper

Swedish companies from **allabolag.se**, the public company register — with the
**financials attached**. No API key, no login, no proxy.

### Why this beats a plain company list

Most registry scrapers give you a name and an address. This one carries the
numbers you actually qualify on:

| Field | Example |
| --- | --- |
| `revenue_sek`, `revenue_tkr` | 12138000, 12138 |
| `profit_sek`, `profit_tkr` | -523000, -523 |
| `employees` | 13 |
| `accounts_year` | 2023 |

**Swedish accounts are reported in thousands of SEK (tkr).** A raw `12138`
means 12.1 million SEK, not twelve thousand — so both readings are returned and
neither is a guess.

### Everything else in the record

`orgnr` (the Swedish organisation number — your join key), `name`,
`company_type`, `status` / `is_active`, `bankruptcy_status` and date,
`founded_date` / `founded_year`, `industries`, `county`, `municipality`,
`street`, `postal_code`, `city`, `email`, `phone`, `mobile`, `website`,
`vat_registered`, `payroll_tax_registered`, `is_headquarters`.

### Example input

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    "https://www.allabolag.se/what/bygg",
    "https://www.allabolag.se/what/restaurang"
  ],
  "maxCompaniesPerUrl": 25
}
```

Search on allabolag.se for an industry, region or keyword and copy the address.

### One important limit

**allabolag.se returns 25 companies per search URL and does not paginate.**
Every variant was tested — `?page=N` returns nothing, `/page/N` reports itself
as page 1 and repeats results, and the site's own pagination links return
identical data for every page.

So this Actor makes **one request per URL and stops at 25**, rather than looping
and charging you again for the same companies. To cover more ground, pass more
search URLs — one per industry, region or keyword.

### Notes

- Financial figures come from the most recent filed accounts; `accounts_year`
  tells you how recent that is.
- Only publicly registered company information is returned.
- Runs stop cleanly before the platform timeout and keep everything collected so
  far, rather than failing.

### Pricing

Pay per result: one `company` event per company returned.

### Support

Found a search that returns nothing, or a field that stopped populating? Open an
issue on the Actor's page and include the URL you used.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Any allabolag.se search or industry URL. Each URL yields up to 25 companies, so add one per industry or region you want covered.

## `maxCompaniesPerUrl` (type: `integer`):

allabolag.se returns 25 companies per search URL and does not paginate, so 25 is the ceiling per URL. To collect more, add more search URLs — by industry, region or keyword.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional. allabolag.se is reachable without a proxy; enable this for very large runs.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    "https://www.allabolag.se/what/bygg",
    "https://www.allabolag.se/what/restaurang"
  ],
  "maxCompaniesPerUrl": 25,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
```

## `companies` (type: `string`):
