## Pricing

from $2.00 / 1,000 vehicles

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## FIPE Brazil Vehicle Price Scraper

The **FIPE table** is the reference valuation every Brazilian dealer, insurer,
bank and marketplace quotes against. This Actor reads it for **cars,
motorcycles and trucks**. No API key, no login, no proxy.

### What you get

| Field | Example |
| --- | --- |
| `brand`, `model` | VW - VolksWagen, AMAROK CD2.0 16V/S TDI 4x2 Die |
| `model_year`, `year_label` | 2013, 2013 Diesel |
| `fuel`, `fuel_code` | Diesel, D |
| `price` | **72232.0** (a real number) |
| `price_text` | R$ 72.232,00 |
| `fipe_code` | 005329-5 |
| `reference_month` | agosto de 2026 |
| `vehicle_type`, `vehicle_type_en` | carros, car |
| `brand_code`, `model_code`, `year_code` | for re-querying |

`price` is parsed properly from the Brazilian format — dot groups thousands and
comma is the decimal, so `R$ 1.234.567,89` becomes `1234567.89`, not `1.234`.

`fipe_code` is the official identifier, so rows join straight to any system that
already speaks FIPE.

### Example input

```json
{
  "vehicleTypes": ["carros"],
  "brands": ["VW", "Fiat"],
  "modelQuery": "gol",
  "maxResults": 500
}
```

Leave `brands` and `modelQuery` empty to walk everything.

### A note on size

FIPE is a drill-down: brand → model → year → price, and **the last step is one
request per year variant**. A single brand can be enormous — VW alone has 547
models. A full sweep is therefore tens of thousands of requests.

`maxResults` is a hard stop, shared across the vehicle types you select. Start
small, and raise the run timeout before asking for a lot.

### Notes

- The official `veiculos.fipe.org.br` sits behind Cloudflare and refuses
  automated requests; this reads the open mirror that serves the same table.
- Runs stop cleanly before the platform timeout and keep everything collected so
  far, rather than failing.

### Pricing

Pay per result: one `vehicle` event per price row.

### Support

Found a brand that won't load, or a field that stopped populating? Open an issue
on the Actor's page and include the input you used.

# Actor input Schema

## `vehicleTypes` (type: `array`):

Which FIPE tables to read: carros (cars), motos (motorcycles) or caminhoes (trucks).

## `brands` (type: `array`):

Optional. Brand names or FIPE brand codes to limit to, for example VW or Honda. Leave empty to walk every brand.

## `modelQuery` (type: `string`):

Optional text filter on the model name, for example Gol or Amarok. Case insensitive.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Hard cap on price rows, shared across the selected vehicle types. FIPE needs one request per year variant, so a full sweep is very large — keep this modest unless you also raise the run timeout.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional. The FIPE mirror works without a proxy; enable this only for very large runs.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "vehicleTypes": [
    "carros"
  ],
  "brands": [
    "VW",
    "Fiat"
  ],
  "maxResults": 200,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
```

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
