No API key.** The **NPPES NPI Registry** is the U.S. government's authoritative directory of all HIPAA-covered healthcare providers — ~8 million individuals (doctors, dentists, nurses, therapists…) and organizations (hospitals, pharmacies, labs, clinics…), each with a unique **National Provider Identifier (NPI)**.
