## Pricing

from $1.60 / 1,000 hotel results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What does Google Hotels Prices Scraper do?

It returns **Google Hotels prices for any destination and dates**: the nightly rate, the total for the stay, and **taxes and fees as separate numbers**. Each property also comes with its star class, guest rating and review breakdown, amenities, coordinates, website, photos, and a Google Hotels link.

- ⚡ **Fast and cheap.** Plain HTTP with no headless browser. 100 hotels take seconds.
- 💶 **Any currency.** Prices come straight from Google in USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD and others.
- 🗓️ **Exact stay.** Pick check-in, check-out (up to 30 nights) and the number of adults.
- 📍 **Any destination.** Cities, regions, neighbourhoods or landmarks, e.g. `Lisbon`, `Shibuya, Tokyo`, `Eiffel Tower`, `Times Square, New York`.
- 🧾 **Clean output.** Flat JSON with numeric prices, ready for spreadsheets, databases, and AI agents.

### How much does it cost to scrape Google Hotels?

You pay **per property returned**, and nothing for failed searches. See the Pricing tab for the current rate. A typical search of 100 hotels in one city costs a fraction of a dollar, and Apify's free plan credits cover thousands of results each month.

Set **Max results per destination** to control spend exactly.

### How do I use it?

1. Enter one or more **Destinations**.
2. Pick **Check-in** and **Check-out** dates. If you leave them empty, the search uses one night starting 14 days from today.
3. Set **Adults** and **Currency**.
4. Click **Start**, then download the results as JSON, CSV, or Excel, or fetch them by API.

### Use cases

- **Hotel rate monitoring and revenue management.** Schedule daily runs and track competitor prices for the same dates.
- **Travel apps and price comparison.** Pull live prices for any city into your product.
- **Market research.** Look at average price by star class, neighbourhood, or season.
- **AI agents.** One call answers "find 4-star hotels in Lisbon under €150 a night for these dates".

### Using it with AI agents (MCP) and the API

The input is small and the output is flat, so LLM agents can call this tool reliably through the Apify MCP server or the API:

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/<ACTOR_ID>/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=$APIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"locations":["Lisbon"],"checkIn":"2026-12-10","checkOut":"2026-12-13","maxResultsPerLocation":20}'
```

### FAQ

**Why do I see vacation rentals?** Google mixes rentals into hotel results, especially for larger groups. Set **Property type** to *Hotels only* or *Vacation rentals only*.

**Are prices per night or total?** Both. `pricePerNight` is the nightly base rate. `totalPrice` covers the whole stay and includes taxes and fees.

**Why are a few fields empty for some properties?** Google doesn't publish every field for every property. For example, check-in times or a description may be missing.

**A destination returned nothing?** Make it more specific, e.g. `Times Square, New York` instead of `Times Square`. The run summary (key-value store → `SUMMARY`) lists any destination that failed.

**Is scraping Google Hotels legal?** This tool collects publicly available prices and business information only. No personal data is collected. Make sure your use complies with the laws and terms that apply to you.

**Found a bug or need a field?** Open an issue on the Issues tab. Issues are usually answered within a day.
