Search and extract Norwegian company data straight from the official government register: [data.brreg.no](https://data.brreg.no/enhetsregisteret/api/docs/index.html), the open API run by the Brønnøysund Register Centre (Brønnøysundregistrene), Norway's central business registry authority. Look up companies by name and get the organisasjonsnummer, address, industry code (næringskode), organisation form, registration and founding date, VAT registration, bankruptcy status, and winding-up status for every match. No API key, no login required.

Norway has more than 1.1 million registered business entities in the Enhetsregisteret (Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities). This actor turns a plain company-name search into a clean, structured list you can drop straight into a CRM, a lead list, or a compliance workflow.

### How to scrape BRREG company data

This actor queries the official `data.brreg.no` enheter (entities) endpoint and returns structured records for every matching Norwegian company. Because it reads the government's own open-data API — not a scraped HTML page — the data is authoritative, current, and free to access at any volume the API allows.

#### Search by company name

Enter a company name to find that business and related entities. Example: `rema`, `equinor`, `byggmester`. The actor returns every entity whose registered name matches, including holding companies, franchisees, and local units registered as separate entities.

#### Filter by organisation form

Set the **Organisation Form Filter** to a Brønnøysund organisation-form code to keep only entities of that type.
