## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## B2B & Local Business Email, Phone, WhatsApp & Social Finder (v2.1 OpenStreetMap + Legal CIF + Deep Crawler)

Discover and enrich real local businesses in any city worldwide **without search-engine IP blocks**, extract verified Spanish fiscal CIF identifiers, assess email deliverability, and score lead quality for cold outreach.

### Key Capabilities (v2.1)

1. **Zero-Block Local Business Discovery (`city` + `businessCategory`):**
   - Queries the official **OpenStreetMap Nominatim Bounded Viewbox API** to discover verified local businesses (Dentists, Clinics, Lawyers, Real Estate Agencies, Hotels, Companies, Coworking spaces, Architects, Tax Advisors, Restaurants, Gyms, etc.) with physical address, postcode, coordinates (`latitude`/`longitude`), and official website.
2. **Deep Internal Subpage Crawler (`/contacto`, `/aviso-legal`, `/contact`, `/impressum`):**
   - Automatically crawls internal contact and legal notice subpages where **70%+ of corporate data and CIFs** are located.
3. **Spanish CIF & Tax ID Extraction with Checksum Validation:**
   - Extracts and verifies Spanish company CIFs (e.g. `B87654321`, `A28015865`) using official checksum algorithms (validating letter vs digit control characters for entity types A through W), flagging `cif_verified: true`.
4. **Anti-Bounce DNS Deliverability Pre-flight:**
   - Inspects target email domains via active DNS resolution to classify deliverability (`VERIFIED_MX_ACTIVE`, `VERIFIED_FREE_PROVIDER`, `RISKY_NO_HOST`) and prevent domain reputation damage in cold outreach campaigns.
5. **B2B Lead Quality Score (0 - 100):**
   - Automatically calculates an algorithmic lead readiness score based on presence of verified CIF, corporate domain email, direct phone, physical address, and social presence.
6. **GDPR / LSSI Corporate Email Classification:**
   - Automatically separates `corporate_emails` from `generic_provider_emails` (`@gmail.com`, `@hotmail.com`), with an optional `corporateEmailsOnly` toggle for strict B2B compliance.
7. **Multi-Channel Lead Signals:**
   - Extracts **Phone Numbers** (`tel:` links + OSM registry), **Direct WhatsApp Links** (`wa.me` / `api.whatsapp.com`), and **Social Profiles** (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok).

# Actor input Schema

## `city` (type: `string`):

City and country to automatically discover local businesses via OpenStreetMap API (e.g. 'Madrid, Spain', 'Barcelona, Spain', 'London, UK', 'Miami, USA'). Leave empty if you only want to enrich the custom 'urls' list below.

## `businessCategory` (type: `string`):

Category to discover in the target city (e.g. dentist, dentista, lawyer, abogado, clinic, hotel, real_estate, inmobiliaria, company, empresa, architect, restaurant, gym, pharmacy, coworking).

## `urls` (type: `array`):

Optional list of specific company URLs/domains to deep-crawl and enrich.

## `crawlContactSubpages` (type: `boolean`):

Automatically discovers and scrapes internal /contact, /contacto, /aviso-legal, /about, and /impressum pages where corporate emails and phones are located.

## `corporateEmailsOnly` (type: `boolean`):

If enabled, filters out personal/free email providers (gmail.com, hotmail.com, etc.) from the primary emails array.

## `extractSpanishCif` (type: `boolean`):

Scrapes and validates Spanish corporate CIFs from /aviso-legal, footer, and privacy policies using the official checksum algorithm.

## `verifyEmailDeliverability` (type: `boolean`):

Verifies that the corporate email domain resolves active DNS host records to avoid cold email bounce penalties.

## `maxSubpagesPerDomain` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of internal contact/legal subpages to crawl per business website.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of enriched business leads to return.

## `timeoutSeconds` (type: `integer`):

Timeout per HTTP request in seconds.
