## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Boozt scraper: Nordic fashion price and deal tracker

This Boozt scraper reads [Boozt](https://www.boozt.com) (the Nordic online
fashion retailer) category, brand and deals pages and returns one flat row per
product colourway: the current price in the market's currency (**EUR, SEK,
DKK or NOK**), the list price, the deal price and percent, Boozt's own SEK
conversion, brand, colour, sizes, stock level, labels, the product link and the
photo. Run it on a schedule and diff the dataset to get a **Nordic fashion price
and markdown watch**: which Polo Ralph Lauren, BOSS or Barbour colourways got a
deal since last week, and how deep.

No account, no API key, no login, no browser. One request returns 80 products.

### Input

| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| `categories` | One or more Boozt listing pages, one per line: a category or brand path (`menswear/clothing`, `women/deals`, `menswear/deals/clothing`, `ugg`) read in the market below, or a full boozt.com listing URL (its own market is kept, any `?query` is ignored). Copy the path from the address bar of any category, brand or deals page. A product that two listings both show is returned once, under the first. A page that is not a product listing, and a mistyped category (Boozt redirects it to its parent), are refused with a message and not charged. |
| `market` | The Boozt country and language that bare paths are read in: `eu/en` (EUR, default), `se/en` or `se/sv` (SEK), `dk/en` (DKK), `de/en` (EUR), `no/en` (NOK), `fi/en` (EUR). English paths are the same in every English market; `se/sv` needs Swedish paths (`klader-for-man/visa-allt`). |
| `sort` | `popular` (Boozt's default), `newest`, `best-deals` (deepest deal percent first), `price-asc`, `price-desc`, `bestsellers`. |
| `maxItems` | Products to read per listing (default 100, up to 10,000). 80 per page. |
| `onlyOnSale` | Return only products whose price is below their list price (`on_sale`). Products that are not marked down are read, not returned and not charged, and do not count toward `maxItems`. A listing with few markdowns reads many pages to find them; `best-deals` order avoids that. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Apify datacenter proxy by default. |

Example input:

```json
{
  "categories": ["menswear/deals/clothing", "women/deals"],
  "market": "se/en",
  "sort": "best-deals",
  "maxItems": 200,
  "onlyOnSale": true
}
```

### Output

Prices are numbers in the market's currency; `currency` says which (read from
the page: EUR on `eu`, `de` and `fi`, SEK on `se`, DKK on `dk`, NOK on `no`).

| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| `query`, `position` | The listing path that first found the product (`/se/en/women/deals`), and its place in Boozt's order for it (1 is first, counted over every organic product of the pages read; paid placements and banners take no number). |
| `product_id` | Boozt's colourway id, a string, unique per row and the number after the last underscore of `url`. **One row is one colourway**: every colour has its own id, price and link. |
| `name`, `display_name`, `brand`, `color` | As the page shows them. `display_name` is the name plus the garment type (`Classic Fit Big Pony Mesh Polo Shirt - Short-sleeved polos`). `brand`, `display_name` and `color` are null if the page sends none. |
| `attribute`, `labels` | The short attribute label some entries carry, as sent (`Regular fit`, `Slim fit`, `Cashmere`, `3-pack`, `Unisex`; null otherwise) and the splash texts on the card (`20% Deal`, `New season`; empty list if none). |
| `url`, `image_url` | The product link for this colour, and its first photo (a `.webp` on `image-resizing.booztcdn.com`). |
| `price` | The lowest current price: `sale_price` if there is one, else `deal_price`, else `list_price`. |
| `list_price` | Boozt's base price, before any sale or deal. Sent for every product. |
| `deal_price`, `deal_percent_off` | The price shown as "156 EUR with Deal" and the site's whole-number percent (20 for "20% Deal"). The deal applies once it is activated at checkout. **Null when the product has no deal**, never 0. 974 of the 1,368 products read carried one. |
| `sale_price` | The price in Boozt's sale slot. **Null when absent, and it was absent on every product read on 2026-10-21** (1,368 entries over 16 pages: men's clothing, men's and women's deals); the slot is read so a sale season shows up here. |
| `price_sek` | The current price in Swedish krona, Boozt's own conversion, as sent. Null if not sent. |
| `on_sale` | True when `price` is below `list_price` (a deal or a sale price). |
| `discount_amount`, `percent_off` | List price minus price, and the whole percent off (the site's figure when it sends one, else worked out from the two prices). **Null when not on sale**, never 0. |
| `sizes`, `in_stock`, `stock_status` | The size labels the listing carries (`XS`, `S`, `M`, `30/32`), whether it says the colourway is in stock, and its stock word (`good`, `few`, `last` were seen). |
| `currency` | The ISO currency of every price column. |

Example row (real values, 2026-10-21):

```json
{
  "query": "/eu/en/menswear/clothing",
  "position": 1,
  "product_id": "32892435",
  "name": "30/1 DOUBLE KNT CVC-LSL-SWS",
  "display_name": "30/1 DOUBLE KNT CVC-LSL-SWS - Sweatshirts",
  "brand": "Polo Ralph Lauren",
  "url": "https://www.boozt.com/eu/en/polo-ralph-lauren/30-1-double-knt-cvc-lsl-sws_32892435",
  "image_url": "https://image-resizing.booztcdn.com/polo-ralph-lauren/raf710p06234_cpoloblackc1730_v10581803ds7_10.webp?has_webp=1&version=0b6216a226a187b3b9b1061a5831e4b7",
  "color": "POLO BLACK/C1730",
  "attribute": null,
  "labels": ["20% Deal"],
  "currency": "EUR",
  "price": 156.0,
  "list_price": 195.0,
  "sale_price": null,
  "deal_price": 156.0,
  "deal_percent_off": 20,
  "price_sek": 1741.27,
  "on_sale": true,
  "discount_amount": 39.0,
  "percent_off": 20,
  "sizes": ["XS", "S", "M", "L", "XL", "XXL"],
  "in_stock": true,
  "stock_status": "good"
}
```

#### Honest nulls

A field the page did not send is `null`, never `0` or `""`. `labels` and `sizes`
are empty lists when there are none.

- **No per-size stock.** The listing carries the size labels and one stock word,
  not a count per size.
- **Paid placements are not rows.** Boozt inserts about 22 paid product
  placements into most pages (flagged `sponsored_product_tracking` in its data).
  They are not the listing's own order and are left out, so every page yields
  its 80 organic products and none of them is billed twice.
- **No description or product detail.** This is the listing, one row per colour.

### Pricing

Pay per event:

- **$0.002** per run (`actor-start`), charged only after your input is
  validated, so a run that fails on bad input costs nothing.
- **$0.00126** per product row written (`product-scraped`), i.e. $1.26 per
  1,000 products. A row that is not written is not charged: rows filtered by
  `onlyOnSale`, paid placements, banners, and repeats of a colourway another
  listing already returned are free.

### How it fetches

It reads the product list that boozt.com's own listing page embeds as JSON in its
page store. Measured 2026-10-21: HTTP 200 HTML of 2 to 3 MB a page, no key or
cookie needed. **Boozt sits behind Cloudflare and refuses requests at random per
exit address, whatever the market**: from Apify datacenter addresses 11 of 30
pages answered (eu 3 of 10, se 4 of 10, dk 4 of 10), from residential addresses
6 of 9. A refusal is HTTP 403 or 429 with a 98 KB "Boozt OOPS!" challenge page, so
it costs little. The actor takes a fresh exit address before every page (Boozt
refuses a second request from one address within a minute) and retries a
refusal from another, up to 10 times: at about 40% per datacenter attempt that
leaves roughly 0.6% of pages unread, and a page it cannot read fails that
listing with a message rather than returning less. A 200 that carries no page
data, a page other than the one asked for, or a dropped connection is treated the
same way.

Things worth knowing, all measured:

- **Paging uses `page=`, 1-based, and is always sent.** `page=0` is answered as
  page 1. The page says which page it rendered, and the actor treats a mismatch
  as a refusal rather than return the wrong page and charge for it.
- **The end is the first page with no organic product, not `pageCount`.** Boozt's
  page count includes the paid placements, so it is one page too many:
  `menswear/clothing` read 21,062 products over 264 pages, but 263 x 80 = 21,040
  are organic, and page 264 (like page 999) is HTTP 200 with only paid placements.
- **Sorting uses `order=`.** `best-deals`, `price-asc`, `price-desc`, `newest` and
  `bestsellers` each returned a different first page; an unknown value is ignored
  (the default order), and `sort=` is ignored altogether, so the actor never sends it.
- **Not every 200 is a listing.** `/se/sv/klader-for-kvinnor` is a content page
  with no products, and a mistyped category is redirected to its parent. The actor
  detects both and refuses them by name instead of returning the wrong products.
- **Depth.** 80 products per page and no page-size setting; at most 10,000
  products per listing are read. A men's clothing listing runs to about 21,000.
- **Totals drift.** `menswear/clothing` read 21,067, 21,062 and 21,302 products
  within an hour (21,067 and 21,062 on `eu`, 21,302 on `se`).

If Boozt changes its page data, the run fails with a message instead of returning
empty rows.

# Actor input Schema

## `categories` (type: `array`):

Boozt listing pages to read, one per line: a category or brand path such as menswear/clothing, women/deals, menswear/deals/clothing or ugg (read in the market below), or a full boozt.com listing URL such as https://www.boozt.com/se/en/women/deals (its own market is kept, any query is ignored). Copy the path from the address bar of any Boozt category, brand or deals page. A content page that is not a product listing, and a mistyped category (Boozt redirects it to its parent), are refused with a message and not charged. A product two listings both show is returned once, under the first.

## `market` (type: `string`):

The Boozt country and language that bare category paths are read in, which sets the currency: eu/en (EUR, the default), se/en or se/sv (SEK), dk/en (DKK), de/en (EUR), no/en (NOK), fi/en (EUR). English paths such as menswear/clothing are the same in every English market; se/sv needs Swedish paths (for example klader-for-man/visa-allt). Boozt lets a request in or refuses it at random per exit address, whichever market it is.

## `sort` (type: `string`):

The order Boozt lists the products in. Best deals puts the deepest deal percent first, which is the quickest way to the biggest markdowns; Price low-high and high-low sort by current price; Newest and Bestsellers are Boozt's own.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Read at most this many products for each listing. Boozt lists 80 per page, so 250 reads four pages. Up to 10,000 are accepted; a listing with fewer products returns what it has.

## `onlyOnSale` (type: `boolean`):

Return only products whose current price is below their list price (the on_sale field: a deal or sale price). Products that are not marked down are read but not returned and not charged, and do not count toward Max products. A listing with few markdowns reads many pages to find them; sorting by Best deals avoids that.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Use Apify's automatic datacenter proxy (the default). Boozt refused about 6 of 10 requests from Apify datacenter addresses and about 3 of 10 from residential ones when this actor was built (11 of 30 and 6 of 9 answered), whichever market; a refused request is a small page and is retried from a fresh address, up to 10 times. Residential is not needed, but costs more per page read (a page is 2 to 3 MB).
