## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Tradera.com New Auctions & Listings Alert (Sweden)

Search [Tradera](https://www.tradera.com), Sweden's biggest online auction and
second-hand marketplace, for one or more terms and get one flat row per
listing: title, price in SEK, buy-now price, listing type, number of bids,
start and end date, seller, condition, shipping options, photos and the
listing URL. Newest first by default, so a scheduled run is a **new-auction
alert**; the ending-soonest and price sorts make it a bargain and sniping
watch.

No account, no login, no browser. One request returns 80 listings.

### Input

| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| `queries` | One or more search terms, one per line, in Swedish or any language. Required. A listing found by two terms is returned once, under the first. |
| `maxItems` | Listings to read per search term (default 100, up to 10,000). Tradera serves 80 per page and stops after 125 pages (10,000 listings), however many it reports finding, so a broader search than that needs a more specific term. |
| `sortBy` | `AddedOn` newest first (default), `TimeLeft` ending soonest, `Relevance`, `LowestPrice`, `HighestPrice`, `MostBids`. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Apify proxy by default. |

#### About the sort orders

Each sort was fetched live and its first page checked against the sort it
names, on the fields in the rows: `AddedOn` has start dates descending,
`TimeLeft` end dates ascending, `HighestPrice` and `LowestPrice` prices in
order, `MostBids` bid counts descending, and `Relevance` is Tradera's default
order. Tradera has a few more sorts (popularity, bids ascending, prices
including shipping); they are not offered because nothing in a row lets you
check them.

- The price sorts mix auctions with fixed-price **shop** listings
(`item_type` `ShopItem`). `LowestPrice` starts with shop listings at 1 SEK,
so the first rows are rarely the bargains you are looking for.
- Tradera silently ignores a sort name it does not know and answers with the
relevance order, so the actor only accepts the six above.

### Output

| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| `query` | The search term that first found this listing. |
| `position` | 1-based rank in the order Tradera served for that term, across pages. |
| `item_id`, `url` | Tradera's numeric listing id and the absolute listing URL. |
| `title` | The listing title as the seller wrote it. |
| `price_sek` | The price right now, in kronor: the top bid for an auction that has bids, the starting price for one without, the asking price for a fixed-price listing. |
| `buy_now_price_sek` | The fixed price of an `AuctionBin` or `PureBin` listing. **null** for a plain auction (Tradera sends 0 there; 0 is not a price). |
| `item_type` | Tradera's own type, verbatim: `Auction` (bids only), `AuctionBin` (bids plus a buy-now price), `PureBin` (fixed price, time-limited), `ShopItem` (fixed price from a shop). |
| `total_bids` | Bids so far. 0 for a listing nobody has bid on, and always 0 for `PureBin` and `ShopItem`. |
| `start_date`, `end_date` | UTC timestamps as Tradera sends them (`2026-10-09T19:01:28.1449863Z`). `ShopItem` listings carry an end date years away: a renewal horizon, not a deadline. |
| `is_active` | Tradera's `isActive` flag. |
| `reserve_price_reached` | Tradera's `reservedPriceReached` flag, verbatim. Meaningful for auctions. |
| `open_to_offers` | True when the seller accepts offers. null for `ShopItem`, where Tradera sends no flag. |
| `seller_alias`, `seller_member_id`, `seller_is_company`, `seller_country_code` | The seller's handle, member id, company flag and ISO country (Swedish and Danish sellers are common). |
| `category_id` | Tradera's numeric category id. The search page carries no category name. |
| `condition` | The listing's condition attribute, in Swedish (`Oanvänt`, `Mycket gott skick`, `Gott skick`, `Okej skick`, `Defekt`). null when the seller set none. |
| `attributes` | One object of every attribute shown on the listing (condition, LEGO series, piece count, ...), a multi-valued one joined with `, `. The keys depend on the category. |
| `free_shipping` | Tradera's free-shipping flag. |
| `shipping_from_sek` | The cheapest **delivery** option in SEK, leaving out pick-up. null when the listing is pick-up only. |
| `shipping_options` | Every option Tradera lists as `{"type": "PostNordParcel", "cost_sek": 56.0}`, pick-up (`Takeaway`, `TakeawayOnly`) included. |
| `image_url`, `image_urls` | The main photo (the `medium` rendition) and every photo URL the search carries: the first two. Nothing is downloaded. |
| `is_promoted`, `is_highlighted` | Tradera's `displayPromoted` and `displayHighlighted` flags. |

#### Honest nulls

A field Tradera did not send is `null`, never `0` or `""`. The cases you will
meet: `buy_now_price_sek` on plain auctions, `shipping_from_sek` on pick-up-only
listings, `condition` on listings without one, `open_to_offers` on shop
listings. `price_sek` is whole kronor in everything seen, stored as a number so
the column is one type throughout.

#### Personal data

Listing text and seller handles are written by private individuals. They are
carried as Tradera publishes them, because they are the listing; nothing is
extracted from them. You are responsible for handling them under the GDPR if
you store them.

### Pricing

Pay per event:

- **$0.002** per run (`actor-start`), charged only after your input is
validated - a run that fails on bad input costs nothing.
- **$0.0007** per listing row written (`listing-scraped`), i.e. $0.70 per
  1,000 listings.

### How it fetches

Tradera has no public JSON API. The search page
(`www.tradera.com/search?q=<term>&sortBy=AddedOn&paging=<n>`) is a Next.js app
that ships its results inside the HTML, as a JSON object in the page's
`self.__next_f.push(...)` data. The actor decodes that object properly rather
than scraping the rendered cards, so every field above comes from Tradera's own
structured record.

Things worth knowing, all measured on 2026-10-10:

- **Paging.** The parameter is `paging=<n>`. `page=<n>` is silently ignored and
returns page 1 again. Page 1 carries no parameter.
- **Result cap.** Tradera serves 125 pages of 80 (10,000 listings); a page past
the last answers 200 with no listings, and a term with no hits answers 200
with a page count of 0. The run logs when a term was cut off at the cap.
`totalItemCount` stops at 10,000 for a broad term.
- **A refusal is a missing payload.** The word "captcha" appears on every
Tradera page (it is the reCAPTCHA site-key names in the public config) and is
not a block signal. A page without the results payload is: the actor treats
it, and HTTP 403, 429 and 5xx, as a refusal, rotates to a fresh proxy address
  and retries.
- **Feed order moves while you read it.** On the newest-first sort, listings
added between two page requests push rows down a page; a row seen twice is
  returned once.

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

What you would type into Tradera's search box, one term per line, in Swedish or any language (for example lego, iphone 15 or fallskärmshoppare). Each term is searched and read separately. A listing that two terms both find is returned once, under the first.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Read at most this many listings for each search term. Tradera serves 80 per page and stops after 125 pages (10,000 listings), however many it reports finding.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

The order Tradera lists the results in. 'Newest first' (Tradera's 'Senast inlagda') is the one for new-listing alerts: it orders by when the listing was added. 'Ending soonest' starts with the auctions about to close. The price sorts mix auctions and fixed-price shop listings.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify proxy (automatic datacenter exits) is the default. Tradera's search page answered Apify datacenter and residential exits with HTTP 200 in the 2026-10-10 probe. A proxy is what lets a refused request be retried from a fresh address.
